21. 21. Ideologies
Having Fun
Rebellion
Finding yourself
Fame and Fortune
The ideology of Rock music have change frequently over the years and this has had a massive effect on the number of rock music enthusiasts.
22. 22. Theorists
Steve Neale (1980)- His theory that all genres are instances of repetition and difference fits my magazine as my magazine is different to the other types of rock magazine.
Douglas Pye- My magazine followed his theory of conforming to the audiences expectations as it includes alot of the classic rock music symbology but also breaks it as it is more about the instruments used then the musicians that play them.
Tom Ryall- My magazine met with the conditions of his theory as it follows the original conventions of Rock music but with a few small changes.
23. 23. Audience
Audiences expect their to be skulls and musical instruments in a Rock music magazine and so I added alot of both and I also added the correct colour tones to the magazine.
