2. MAPTo be a great designer,
first of all, I have to know
and understand myself. I
have been digging deeply
into my own instinct to
define who I truly want to
become and what I am
capable of as a designer.

Illustrating an object that
is only in my imagination
is a whole new experience
to me. Practicing is the
main key.
This is my envision of a
modern cabin in a
northwest forest.

Another way to illustrate
my imagination is using
Photoshop and Illustrator.
I did not know how I
wanted my space look like
until I started designing
it.
8. Making models is another
way to learn whether my
imagination is doable,
which makes me rethink
about my design.

While I was designing, I
considered myself as a
picky client. I tried to
solve all of the problems
that I could think of, then
came up with a best
design that made us
happy.

Building structures that
are located in interior
space might be my biggest
obstacles. However, I love
challenges. They uncover
and enhance my not- yet-
discovered talents.

16. It was a long way from the begining. I have to learn everything step by step.
The longer I learn, the deeper I understand about my instinct, the more I
love designing. It does not matter how many stairs there are, I know there
is an elevator that is always waiting for me at the bottom of the building.
And once I see the elevator, it is the moment when I become a true interior
designer. If I cannot understand myself, how can I help my clients!
There is a saying says: “If you want to be more creative, think like a child”.
I guess there is a part of me that never wants to grow up because I am
creative.
Thank you for your time. Hope you enjoy my “building”.
