Creating a magazine basedon somethingof my
interest.
Why have youdecided to makeit? Because I realise thatprint work appearsto be my

I rather enjoy creating printed mediawork, as well
as havingpreviousgoodexperiences with creating
original printed media, so I’dlike totry andcross
thatover with a topic thatI enjoy – such as
football, wrestling, video games… or maybeall of

I don’treally read a lot of magazinesto begin
with, butI am aware of FourFourTwo (for football)
andPower Slam (for wrestling) are magazinesthat
I can let myself dosome research on andbase my
own magazineon.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I just want themto realise thatit’s a magazine
thatis madeby a fan for the fans, therefore it
would be necessary for interviews or top10sto
use languagethat allows them to feel inclusive
with the conversation.
Describe the tone/mood/styleofyourproject
[which productiontechniques/characteristicsare
youemploying?]
I’dlike tokeep the colour/stylistic theme
consistentthroughoutthemagazine, I think the
FourFourTwomagazinestendto stylise their
colour scheme basedon who is ontheir cover (for
example Brazilian footballers like Pele, Neymar,
etc wouldlikely havea yellow background, orif
the player playsfor ManchesterUnited, there will
be a red, white andblack theme).
