This document discusses how to dynamically stop and start Mule processes using Groovy scripts and choice exception handling. It provides steps to identify scenarios to suspend a process, catch errors using choice exception strategies, write Groovy scripts to stop or start processes by checking conditions, and call those scripts from the catch exception strategy or message sources like JMS to control process flows at runtime without redeployment.

Debugging in JavaScript
It is common to have errors while writing codes and the errors can be due to syntax or logical. These errors create a lot of ambiguity in the logic and understanding of both users and programmers. There can also be errors in the code which can remain invisible to the programmer’s eye and can create havoc. To identify these errors we need Debuggers that can go through the entire code or program, identify the errors and also fix them.
-Debugger
The debugger keyword is used in the code to force stop the execution of the code at a breaking point and calls the debugging function. The debugger function is executed if any debugging is needed at all else no action is performed.

Writing and maintaining the test automation code is not always a piece of cake. As a matter of fact, we frequently face many scenarios where automated test cases don’t work as expected and might lead to false positive or false negative results, in such cases, debugging is the only way out.

Two leading developers -- from Jira/ Atlassian and Pushpay -- shared their insights, tip, tricks, and best practices on how to maintain quality across the Dev-Test-Release cycle, without losing speed or coverage.
Talk 1: Reducing the Risk of Rapid Development and Continuous Delivery -- by David Corbett (Director of Engineering @ Pushpay)
In this talk, David showed us what goes on under the hood of Pushpay's development cycle.
He also talked about the ways in which Pushpay is empowering Dev and Test teams to be more autonomous, and prompting them to use advanced test automation tools & techniques, such as visual validation, in order to gain confidence in deploying many times each day.
Talk 2: Testing Hourglass at Jira Frontend -- by Alexey Shpakov (Sr. Developer - Jira Frontend @ Atlassian)
We often hear people talk about the testing pyramid.
In Jira Frontend, we talk about testing hourglass -- that means we expect our developers to be responsible for the whole lifecycle of the code -- starting from creating tests and finishing with running a 24/7 on-call.
In this talk, Alexey did a deep-dive into the various types of testing they have in Jira Frontend, and discussed the various tools that allow them to deliver Jira to customers in a low-risk manner.

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

Stop Mule process with mule component diagram

Start Mule process with mule component diagram
Groovy script to start the process
3. Sometime when you are developing your
application it becomes important to stop your
particular process dynamically when some specific
error occurred for a long time of period.
You can start that particular process without any
redeployment.
For example If your database is down or your
incase your target system is down and you are
hitting continuously your target system.
We can achieve this in mule via using groovy
script or customizing our code.
4. 1. Identify in which scenario you want to suspend
your process.
2. Use choice exception handling to catch those
errors.
3. Mention the condition in MEL expression to
catch particular scenario.
4. Create a sub process and write the groovy script
to stop the process.
5. Call the sub process from catch exception
strategy once the condition is match.
5. 1. Create the flow to start your process.
2. your message source should be JMS, Anypoint
MQ and SQS etc.
3. Use the groovy script to start the process.
6. 1. Create the flow to start your process.
2. In this example message source is http and your
target is database, in this case if there is any error,
choice exception strategy catch the error, it will 1st
check the error condition if error related to
database connection then this will call sup process
stopflow.
7. Choice exception strategy is used to handle
different type of exception handling on based of
condition. You can specify number of condition
based of your requirement and can handle the error
in different way based on the condition.
8. demoStop sub process will check the condition
flag if flag is true it will stop the specified flow
otherwise simply print the logger and will come at
the end of the flow.
9. This script will first check the flow is started or not and this
will check the flag value will is configured in property file, if
both condition will true in this case it stop the flow.
10. Once your target is up or running you then you can
start your process, to do this you can send message
to your JMS queue this will check the condition and
then will start the flow.
11. This is the groovy script which will start your
process. It first check the condition that the process
is running or not, if it is in stopped condition this
script will start your starter process.
12. Mule doesn’t provide any component that directly stop
and start/restart any process or flow at run time. This
presentation will help you to do this via customizing your
code.
