The Instructor Control Panel providesinstructorswithone-clicktoolstohelpmanage the Classroomand
includes:

Thisfeature allowsinstructorstopublishpresentations,websites,graphicsandimagesforuse inthe
Online Classroomenvironment. Instructorscanalsocreate multiple slide listswithanunlimitednumber
of slidesperlist. The slide listisautomaticallyloadedwheneveraninstructorentersthe classroom.The
instructorcan thenchoose whichlisttouse and all the slidesassociatedwiththatlistwillbe loadedinto
the classroom.
Selectingslidestouse inthe Classroom
1. ClickSlide List onthe instructorControl Panel. MyLessonList will appearinthe displaywindow
showingall liststhatyoucreated.
2. In My lessonList, clickon the desiredslidelist. All the slides forthe listwill be displayedin My
Slide List window.

EditingSlides
Thisfeature allowsinstructorstouploadfilesinavarietyof formatssuch as: (JPG,GIF,HTML, PNG,and
URL’s) whichcan thenbe publishedintothe Classroom.
Accessingthe Slide ListManager
1. Clickthe Edit Slidesbutton. The Slide List Manager will thenopen:
List Name – name of listscreated
Slide Count – the numberof slidesinthe list
Order – the orderinwhichthe slidesappearinthe Slide ListManager
Manage List– there are two optionsinthiscolumn:
o Edit Slides– add, delete,orreorderthe slideswithinthe list
o Delete Lesson– deletesanentire listandall associatedfiles
Creatinga NewSlide List
1. Usingthe TAB key,move the cursor to List Name. Type the name of the new listbyselectinga
name that describesthe contentof the slide list.
2. ClickCreate NewList. The newlistname will appearinthe column labeledListName.
3. Clickadd new slidestolist.
CopyingSlide Lists
1. In the List Name field,type the new listname.
2. Clickon the drop-downlistunderSelectSource List.
3. Highlightthe listyouwanttocopy and click Copy to NewList.

8. AddingSlidesto a List
Once you have createda Slide Listyoucan beginaddingslides. Slidescanbe HTML, JPG,GIF, or PNG.
Each slide isa separate file andcancontainonlyone page (or image) perfile. Pleasenotethat
interactive flash files are notsupported in the Online Classroom. If you areusing Flash content,you
should usethe Online Flash Classroom.
Followthe stepsbelow toaddslidestoyourlist:
1. ClickEdit Slidesinthe Source List. The window will changeto “Editing List”.
Delete Slide – clickon the box nextto the slide youwanttodelete (acheckwill appear
inthe box).
Slide # - showsthe orderof slidesinthe presentation.
Slide Name – Displaysthe name of the selectedslide orURL.
File Name – the file name of the slide thathasbeenuploaded.
Reorder/Redisplay– reorderthe slidesbychangingthe numbersequence.
Delete – deletesthe checkedslides.
Save Changes– savesanychangesmade to the list.
2. Type the name of the slide orURL inthe Name New Slide box.
If enteringa URL:
a. Clickinthe WebPage box and enterthe website address.
b. ClickAdd WebPage.The slide nameand URL addresswill display in thetable.
