4. So in our Music video we proceeded to use these conventions.
5. We also noticed that video girls in rap music videos were also very attractive and usually in the mis en scene of revealing clothing as it has been proven that having attractive girls in music videos can be a big part of their success as people want to see beautiful people in music videos.
6. So we did the same and found ourselves an attractive video girl to give our video more appeal, and after a few photo shoots with numerous girls this was the girl we decided to have in our video.
7. Here are some of the girls we considered for the video girl but unfortunately after a group discussion were unsuccessful candidates.
8. Also from our research it we saw that many UK rap videos are shot in decaying urban settings as the audiences for this genre of music are usually from these sort of settings, but we also noticed that the more successful the artist becomes, the better the surroundings in his music video become.
9. So in our video we proceeded to having shots in decaying urban settings but also in better more built up surroundings to symbolise the artist’s rise.
