executing and commissioning large scale projects
FLUOR (July 2008 to present)
4 x 2 Combined Cycle Plant (December 2014 to June 2016)
• Developed the design basis and operating philosophy to ensure a minimum of 820 MW of
power is provided to the grid for all the ambient ranges
• Mentored and guided 5 engineers in becoming proficient in simulation, equipment and
instrumentation design, and technical writing
Cogeneration Plant (July 2009 to July 2013)
• Designed, engineered, commissioned and performance tested a 50 MW cogeneration plant
that provided self-sufficiency in power and steam consumption for the refinery
• Reviewed and troubleshot the development of the DCS and PLC systems to properly control
the plant and to meet air emissions requirements
• Managed and interfaced with 8 engineering disciplines, 36 client representatives and SME, 10
vendor technical representatives, and 5 construction managers in the field to ensure proper
installment and operation of the equipment to meet schedule for uninterrupted operation
Other Assignments and Projects (July 2008 to present)
• Developed Excel spreadsheet tool that reduced sizing and design time of equipment,
instrumentation, and piping from 1 month to 1 week
• Spearheaded the revamping of 2 existing water treatment facilities while minimizing cost and
ensuring the latest technology
