Anatomy Gifts Registry (AGR) – Winter 2010
Intern
Participated in hands-on Tissue Recovery, which consists of preparing human tissue for use
in Medical Science and Education. Tissues are obtained from donors participating in AGR's
Whole Body Donor Program.
Became familiar with human anatomy by performing physical assessments comparing it to
the medical history, drawing blood for serological testing, and surgically recovering tissue
samples.
Became familiar with the process for national and international shipments of human
