treat waste water
 Bio-degradation
 Chemical coagulation
 Cross flow microfiltration
 Biodegradation in which organic compounds
are decomposed by microbes e.g bacteria
Pollutants generated from paint industries
contain mixture of toxic organic solvents.
 ethylene glycol,
 propylene glycol
 iso-butanol
 In water treatment, coagulation occurs when
a coagulant is added to water to "destabilize"
colloidal suspensions.
 Alum
 Aluminum sulphate
 coagulation is one of the cheapest process
for treatment of various organic effluents.
The cross-flow microfiltration unit consisted of
a cellulose acetate membrane with pore size
0.2 mm, makes water free of suspended
matter, bacteria and colloidal matter.
