gala for the American cancer
society.

statement, the 5 w’s who, what,
when, where, why, target
attendance demographics and
psychographics, budgets creation,
the production timeline, risk
assessment analysis, publicity, and
virtual events will all be covered in
this presentation.
EVENT PHIULOSOPHY AND
MISSION STATEMENT
• THE PURPOSE OF OUR EVENT IS TO
UNITE A CARING NEIGHBORHOOD THAT
IS COMMITTED TO BATTLING CANCER
AND HELPING THE AMERICAN CANCER
SOCIETY.
• OUR MISSION IS TO HELP CANCER
PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS, RAISE
MONEY FOR CANCER RESEARCH, AND
SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT CANCER
PREVENTION.
THE 5 W’S
• WHO: ANYONE INTERESTED IN HELPING THE FIGHT
AGAINST CANCER IS WELCOME TO ATTEND,
INCLUDING COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS.
• WHAT: A DINNER, SILENT AUCTION, LIVE
PERFORMANCE, AND MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS
WILL BE PART OF THIS CHARITY GALA.
• WHEN: THE GALA WILL BEGIN AT TIME ON DATE.
• WHERE: LOCATION IS THE LOCATION OF THE GALA.
• WHY: TO GENERATE MONEY FOR THE AMERICAN
CANCER SOCIETY’S EDUCATION, PATIENT

INCLUDED IN OUR BUDGET.
• BY REQUESTING SPONSORSHIP, IN KIND
DONATIONS, AND REDUCING WASTEFUL

EVENT PHIULOSOPHY AND MISSION STATEMENT • THE PURPOSE OF OUR EVENT IS TO UNITE A CARING NEIGHBORHOOD THAT IS COMMITTED TO BATTLING CANCER AND HELPING THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY. • OUR MISSION IS TO HELP CANCER PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS, RAISE MONEY FOR CANCER RESEARCH, AND SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT CANCER PREVENTION.
