This document provides information on a type of engineered hardwood flooring called SoundLoc 2.0. It describes the flooring's construction as having a thin hardwood top layer with a core made of resistant softwood. Key features listed include superior stability, soundproofing, and wear layer compared to traditional hardwood. It also notes the flooring is made in Canada and is suitable for installation over wood-frame constructions and radiant heat systems. Installation methods, available wood species, certifications, and warranty information are also summarized.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Conduct a moisture test in different areas of the subfloor
and record your readings. For plywood and OSB subfloors,
the percentage moisture difference between the hardwood
floor and the subfloor must not exceed 2 points with a
maximum of 12 % for the hardwood. For concrete subfloors,
the moisture content of the concrete should never exceed
4 %. The installer and the floor owner are both responsible
for measuring the moisture content of the subfloor and
making sure it is within the recommended level prior
to installation.
