Article 50 has been triggered. The UK are leaving the
EU on the 29th March 2019 at 11pm.
Phase 1 negotiations were agreed on 8th December
2017 outlining a payment would be made to the EU in
the region of £40-50bn; EU citizens rights would be
further discussed as would the Irish Border promising to
be no hard border & uphold the Belfast Agreement.
Transition Agreement was reached following pressure
from UK business to provide an element of certainty to
Brexit.
