This document summarizes the events and workshops organized by Serco/Business Link in London from December 2007 to November 2011. Drawing on the recent successes of the Experience & Digital Team at ACMI, this paper will explain how the team is using product management methods to strategically transform the organization’s culture from one of irregular, exhibition-driven change to one that is constantly and continuously evolving. Using Simon Wardley’s Pioneer Settlers Town Planners concept as a framing tool, this paper will discuss the first year of a new process implementing product management practice and conclude by giving a series of recommendations able to be adopted by museums large and small.

I’ve received many thank yous from clients over the years but this is
my favourite
Dear Events Team,
Million Thanks for such an OUTSTANDING event.
I attended many events and workshops for the last three years, and
I want to say it was THE BEST - for it's organisation and combination
of services.
I wish now that all events would have such a high level of standard.
It' is OUTSTANDING: such as running in parallel two workshops,
having stands ready to answer our questions during whole event (!),
having tea/scones/etc ( that we can refresh and recharge ourselves
at any time), inviting Dermatologica for skin examination (!), having a
panel of Experts and servicing us with drinks while we were
networking (!).
By such outstanding coordination and organisation, just during five
hours:
- I met a few potential clients and business partners;
- Attended all workshops and presentation, by learning a few new
approaches that would benefit my business;
- Made connections for further business opportunities;
- Presented my business for 1 minutes, and received a very positive
feedback;
- Get answers to my questions re: tax; business space and publishing
my articles.
- and also, have had my skin examination by lovely professional who
gave me a pack of specific skin products for my skin needs.
