EDUCATION
Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO GPA: 3.77 Graduation Date: May 2016
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering
WORK EXPERIENCE
Wolf Robotics December 2012-March 2016
Mechanical Engineering Intern
- Utilized SolidWorks and Creo to design weldments and fixtures for robotic systems, a prox sensor track
system, cable management solutions, and camera enclosure that had built in air channels for cooling
- Constructed design tables in SolidWorks to create multiple forms of a control systems pallet for cable
management
Applications Engineering Intern
- Given a customer’s part and weld print, I worked with the project manager and regional manager to design a
custom system concept and layout, conducted reach studies, cycle time estimates, and created a proposal
- Developed simulations using Robot Studio and Cinema 4D, successfully presented a six million dollar
project
- Programmed a robot to draw pictures for children at the Northern Colorado Mini Makers Faire
Assembly Technician Intern
- Used a crane, drill press, drill, and various tools to assemble electrical and mechanical components
Idea-2-Product Lab January 2015-May 2016
- Taught others how to use the 3D printers and 3D scanners, diagnose and fix printers when they break
ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE
Mechanical Engineering Design and Machining Classes
-Disassembled a blender and modeled each part in Creo, modeled a steam locomotive in Creo
-Designed and machined a working vice using the lathe, mill, and drill press
Mechatronics Design Class
- Designed and built a hot chocolate maker that would simultaneously stir using a motor, heat a cup of water up
when it sensed pressure, and turn off the heating plate when the water reached the user input temperature
Biomedical Problem Based Learning
- Given three problem statements, a hypothesis was designed, and experiment was conducted for each to test if the
problem could be proven or disproved through data analysis
- Determined the interaction between body temperature and cough drops, and the pumping mechanism of an
embryonic fish heart
Design Practicum
- Designed, 3D printed, and built the fixture to hold the lenses for a laser speckle contrast imaging device, saving
over $1,800 over alternative imaging devices
SKILLS
3D Printing and Machine Shop Experience, Creo, SolidWorks, MATLAB, MathCad, Lab View, Robot Studio,
