2017 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Troy,NY12180
Biomedical Engineering
Master of Science
Bachelor of Science
Concentration in BiomaterialsScience and Engineering,CurrentGPA: 3.34
Relevant Coursework:
-Mechanobiology
 Focused on the mechanical regulation of cartilage and bone growth in the body and
methods of osseointegration.
-Biomedical Engineering Lab
 Focused on lab techniques such as: fluorescence cell imaging, creating hydrogels, and
finding mechanical propertiesof cells and tissues.
 Part of a four member team that researched the temperature effects on the formation of
Methylcellulose hydrogel in order to find a potential treatment to Spinal Cord Injury. Found
the optimal temperature for implantation of the body
- Biomedical Senior Design
 Integral member to a 5- member team tasked to redesign the Huber needle
 In charge of research on past designs, discovering the cause of the previous failure, and
how to successfully and efficiently redesign the needle.
 Resulted in the developmentof a successful prototype with a trapezoidal needle tip
 Currentlybeing broughtto manufacture through industry liaison
