The purpose of the cBs Mentor programme is to help first year students develop suitable study technique

As preparation the mentors participate in a two-day course on dynamic interviewing and conversation
tecnniqles, facilitation skills and framework for the mentor programme.
The programme requires mentors to be:
. well-prePared and Professional
. open and outreaching in their approach to students
. able to facilitate discussions on complex and challenging issues
. able to communicate with and help students with very different needs and qualifications
Mentors are paid for their work. They are found through a selective application process'
