Ladies and Gentlemen:
I am a Counsel at Kaye Scholer LLP and am writing a letter of recommendation
for Kasi Thursby.
I have been practicing law for over 15 years at several different law firms and can
state without reservation that Ms. Thursby provided the best technology support I have received
in my entire career.
Beyond her excellent technical skills, Ms. Thursby understands what my job
entails and accordingly was able to provide solutions to technological issues in a way that was
least disruptive to my work. She often provided a short term solution in order to enable me to
complete my work (and accordingly generate revenue for my firm), but also to provide long term
solutions to avoid a recurrence of the problem in the future. Too often technological support
personnel view their customers as adversaries who are over-demanding. Ms. Thursby, on the
other hand, made me feel like she was working on my side and was invested in getting my
computer up and running, which made me relax because I felt like I was in good hands. Ms
Thursby also has excellent communication skills and was often able to explain a technical issue
in a way that I could understand, unlike many other technological support personnel who talk to
me as ifl had the same level of knowledge as they do. Finally, Ms. Thursby was extremely
proactive at figuring out solutions to my technology problems, whether by reaching out to
colleagues and superiors in cases where she herself did not know the answer to my question, or
by always having a back-up plan in case her first attempt to resolve an issue was unsuccessful or
by providing me with periodic updates or follow-up to make sure my computer continued to
operate at an optimal level.
Any company would be lucky to have Ms. Thursby as an employee.
I can be contacted by mail at the above address, by phone during the day at 212-
836-7281 or by e-mail at my personal e-mail account (itattenbaum@gmail.com).
Regards,
Ian S. Tattenbaum, Esq.
