This document describes the Ardha Baddha Padma Paschimottanasana yoga pose. The pose involves sitting on the ground and bringing the left foot into half lotus position on the right thigh while bending forward to place the forehead, mouth, and chin on the bent right knee. Reaching the right hand toward the right foot, the practitioner holds the pose for 30 seconds to stretch the back and make the knees more flexible while improving blood flow and posture.
