The prototypes was done by CNC but actually I have a small
3D printer to make small toys/decorative accents.

• Change the wiring of the car. Execute the
contingency plan, drive the car on the race day.
Presence in all the test drive with the solar panel.
Participate in the construction of the structure of
the car.
• Work really good and lead the team with energy
and enthusiasm. Maybe she put too much heart
and don’t though the things with cold mind. A
couple of decisions that were taken with fear
affected the group
• Organize the team meetings. She meet with
other university engineer to do the car
modifications. Help doing the first tests. Decorate
the car, make the electric connections, supervise
the execution (dates and budget). Build the plan
B car because the plan A crash the date of the
race.

13. Hevea production proposal
• Challenge:
• Find a feasible product to produce with the highest return on investment with the
actual production plant that the company have.
• Project:
• Evaluate all the possible products that can be made with the actual equipment having
the option to invest in complementary machinery for the industrialization of the
product. The market was analyzed by Porter 5 forces and was complemented by a
financial analysis for each product.
• Results:
• We seek for the evaluation of the products and recommend the most feasible and
profitable in order to start the production factory. We elaborate a Scorecard to
compare all the products based on the market aspects and a preliminary business
model based in the value chain, financial and manufacturing aspects of each product.
• Team members:
– Pedro Ruiz, Maripaz Vizcaino,
Christian Coyoy, Karla Rodriguez
14. • For each of the 3 products:
• Financial Statements projected 10 years
forward including capital expenditures to adapt
the plant
• Scorecard
• Porter Analysis
• Canvas Analysis for
• Market Research
• Comparative analysis between the 3 products

19. Simulation
• The retail department had a reduction of about 8 minutes in the process,
this amount represents 25% of the initial result. This is critical in because
the customer expects efficiency and fast delivery.
• The service department need to be reduced by 30% so the process
becomes much more efficient.

Due to the nature of the company no client leaves the queue after a certain time.
Several variables were assumed as constants, in reality there are many eventualities and
internal factors that can’t be taken into account or are were complex to simulate.
• To establish the correct amount of people in each sales department and
to increase profit by the reduction of unnecessary people.
The problem:

In this system, each of the stations represents a type of sale. The route that the client
follow is:
1. Enter the system
2. Select the type of sales by a probability model
3. Make the queue with different waiting times for each type of sale
4. Make the purchase
5. Exit the system
This system simplify the sales process by determining the appropriate number of
vendors for each type of sales and the average number of customers.
