15. QlikView – in cooperation with Hogart BI
• Business Intelligence Solution from QlikTech, which allows to build
a comprehensive BI system in company. Unlike other tools based on OLAP
technology, QlikView does not use any preaggregators.
• The data from the source systems are loaded into the native .qvw format,
which is a direct source of data for the presentation and analytical layer.
• When loading data is subjected to strong compression, which reduces the
size of the data to 5-10% in relation to the RDB.
• When working with a tool, the data file is loaded into RAM. There the
needed summation is directly counted. It depends on the preset selection.
The advantage of this kind of approach is unusual in other tools interactivity
and speed.

• Analytical and presentation layer for BI systems, which allows to freely
create and manage dynamic views connecting presentation of analytical
data (how does sales go, how does the contact-center work) with
multimedia, RSS feeds and internal information, television channels etc.
• The solution is installed after the preparation of analytical models and of the
department which is responsible for the maintenance and supply
aggregates for the presentation and analytical layer and screens / monitors
presenting the views for employees (managers, contact center, sales force
management, customer service, marketing and board members) who wish
to keep have a grasp of the situation in a particular area.
