6. After that, we can wander for Greece and Egypt.
There, not only pictures, but sculptures started to
be made, being one more way to represent the
reality, showing humans on the compositions.

7. After that, the most important event was the
Renascence, when the man was put on the center of
the world and was shown like the god of himself,
forgetting the religion and concentrating on
themselves, what made them represent humans each
time more through paintings.

8. This tool was very useful for that time, but at the same
time, it was very slow, tiring either to the artist and the
"model", once it needed about 6 months to get ready…

10. The photography was not a new idea,
although. It was thought, but there was
not what was needed to execute it.
Some trials were done and they worked
on someway, but it wasn't the same
thing that was unveiled on the 19th
century.

11. Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the guys who could do it
and many other things, but his most known dids were
the Monalisa and the Vetruvian Man, represented by
painting and drawing, respectively. So the paintings
continued being the main way to represent everything.

12. The many types of pictures we can find, like
impressionism, pointillism, baroque and etc.,
contributed to express what people saw around and
what they wanted to record, that is what the
photography represents for us nowadays.

13. The material used to make the paintings were very
especific on the oldest period: oil paint (that takes a lot
of time to dry, what allowed the painter to make some
modifications before the end of the job), canvas, paint
brush and palette.

14. Finally, we would like to say that the photography took
the place of the paintings, because it became very
popular, people were able to acquire it, even though
they were not the rich and it is cheaper and faster.
