You may remember that Kelly joined our team earlier this year. She
does a lot of the behind the scenes client services to keep your
financial plan running smoothly, along with event coordination. What
you may not know is that she also got married this year!
Kelly married the love of her life this September: Josh Lynch. Kelly and
Josh officially met 2 years ago, but it turns out that they actually had
several mutual friends and both grew up in Franklin. They each had
heard of the other, but had never actually held a conversation or even
been in the same room. It wasn’t until a random friend request and
several Facebook message later that a romance was ignited.
“Looking back at those messages makes me laugh. We were so awkward!
And, I can say that now because we’re married.” recalls Kelly.
Josh and Kelly were married at Westbury House on The Square in
Columbia, TN.
We wish the happy couple nothing but a lifetime of happiness!

Fall Open Enrollment is between October 15 - December 7. It is the time of year when you can:
Join a new Medicare Advantage Plan or stand-alone prescription drug plan (Part D) plan
Switch between Original Medicare with or without a Part D plan and Medicare Advantage

Year End Tax Planning
Didn’t we just finish tax season? It’s hard to believe that 2019 will be wrapping up in just a couple months! It’s
important to take care of any year end strategies left like charitable donations, harvesting losses, and deciding

Classroom Cuties
Daniel spent a day helping his wife teach second grade at Cole Elementary
School. He gave a glimpse into life as a financial advisor and taught the kids some
basic math. Judging by the picture, we think Daniel made a positive impression!
New Hope Academy
Our team spent October 18 at New Hope Academy
in Franklin, TN. We helped with maintenance and
administrative tasks. New Hope Academy maintains
intentional economic diversity, reserving half of its
seats for children from low-income families.
Professor Doerfler
Every school semester, Tommy teaches basic financial planning to the senior music majors at Belmont
University and Middle Tennessee State University. He gives a glimpse of what life may look like after
graduation, and gives some tips for being prepared financially. He enjoys sharing his own experience
from the music industry and teaching some basic financial principles to help prepare the graduating
class enter one of the toughest industries to be successful in.
