2. Rules, Regulations and Getting in on the fun!
The Teen Summer Reading Games are open to anyone entering grades 6 - 12.
Registration will begin on Friday, June 20th. To register, go online and click on the Summer
Reading icon at www.nrpl.org. If you need assistance, call the library: 632-7878 x2100, or
come in and ask at the 2nd
floor Information desk.
Once you create an account with our online summer reading system, it’s pretty simple: Just
keep track of how many books you read this summer, and log it in your online account. You
can also post reviews of the books you read, and read and comment on other teen’s reviews.
Every book you read, or review you post is worth points.
BUT THERE’S MORE!!!!
You can earn points just by being a part of the summer fun! Pick up an activity log from the
Teen Services Librarian and get it stamped any time you…
 ‘Like’ or RT anything on our Facebook or twitter
 Attend any teen programs
 Play any of the games or activities out in the teen room this summer
 Beat your little brother at Connect 4
(you get the idea, right?)
Points you earn will get you:
 An invite to the Top-Secret Mad Scientist End-of-the-Summer-as-we-know–it party in
August!
 A chance at the prizes given out at said event!
The last day to log anything will be August 10th.
The Top-Secret Mad Scientist End-of-the-Summer-as-we-know–it party MIGHT take place on
August 15th. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
