Write down the meaning of the word
stereotype in your own words:
A stereotype is an untrue representation on a
particular group of people.
2. MAIN TASK 1: Describe each characteristic to show the difference
between this media stereotype and a real teenager.
Speech: Uses lots of slang
and offensive words.
Not very articulate and
often does not make
sense.
Appearance: She
looks sluggish, like she
doesn’t care about
what she is wearing.
Her facial expressions
look like she is very
rude, honest and
upfront.

like someone that doesn’t

she can’t be bothered.
