LAHJA realizes that you compete at horse shows
because you enjoy the competitive factor of riding.
LAHJA offers a wide variety of awards aimed at many
levels of riders. We celebrate our year end champions
at our annual awards banquet.
Five medal classes give riders the opportunity to
qualify for prestigious medal finals.

was a past winner of LAHJA finals.
Communicat ion
We make it easy to stay connected and know what
is going on with LAHJA. Our members receive a
monthly e-mailed newsletter filled with information,
news, and interesting profiles.

Educat ion
We value education and we put some money behind
that statement!
This three phase program is open to any LAHJA
junior member from first through twelfth grade.
We feature educational content in our monthly e-
news and have a partnership with Equestrian Coach
(website) and Judge My Ride (website link).
Rules
LAHJA maintains a rule book and we make sure our
specifications and local rules meet the needs of rid-
ers, trainers, and shows in the Los Angeles area. We
are proudly affiliated with the United States Hunter
Jumper Association (ushja.org), our national hunter/
jumper organization. We aim to provide a consis-
tent, competitive and fun local horse show experi-
ence.
