 Processing bills for Contractors (both internally and externally) who performelectricity services orother services and follow up
for payment on behalf of JPS Co. Ltd. eg. Street light repairs, pole and wire jobs for JPS and follow up for payment
(computerized systems)
 Assist with ordering material and other office supplies from Stores Department and or external suppliers and process for
payment.
 Utilize facsimile machine, photocopier and desktop computer
 Process documentation and follow up with the status for renewing temporary employment for staff and welfare and benefits of
employees within the department
 Take information and follow up on repairs to streetlightas required
 Corresponding with governmental agencies as required eg.OUR (Office ofUtilities Regulation)
 Assistwith minor repairs to computer problems for department
 Prepare documentation for weekly and monthly safety meetings and submit report to Safety and Occupational Health
Department
 Assist with Disaster Preparedness and on call in the eventof one occurring – hurricane, ordering material where required,
water, lights, candle, generator, rope, shovels, food and beverages for workmen daily, input data on computer system for
Superiors, updating other departments and information for media in regards to progress reports on restoring electricity to
areas responsible for. Adequate supply in stock for safety supplies / FirstAid Kits for each company vehicle
 Inputofemployees on Contract, Temporary and Permanent staffpayrolldata on DFE etc.
 Liaising with all departments within the company in regards to company vehicles
 Prepare local traveltickets and payments as required
 Handling incoming and outgoing mails,typing internaland external correspondences
 Where required prepare and send company vehicles to garages etc. for repairs and coordinating processing of invoices for
paymentetc
 Processing bills for repairs to company vehicles by internal and externalContractors
 Prepare documents for updating and keeping a mechanical record system, fitness, registration records for easy retrieval and
scheduling servicing etc.
 Prepare documentation, co-coordinating repairs, acquiring tyres, batteries and processing of invoices for payment utilizing
reputable and legalgarages
 Collect cheques for Contractors fromthe Accounts Department, log and record keeping ofcheques delivered to Contractors
 Detailed record keeping ofwhich institution was paid for jobs completed and check and reconcile where required
 During the absence of immediate Supervisor within the Transport Department eg. Vacation leave, Iperform all of the jobs as
required by Supervisory actions in addition to approving invoices for payment, approving documents for maintenance of
company vehicles and give instructions to Contractors (internal and external) voluntary occasionally and keep company
vehicles all inclusive oftrucks etc for respective departments in good running condition.
