Running day to day operations. Preparing schedules for over 50 employees weekly as well as bi-
weekly pay rolls. Weekly liquor ordering as well as completing monthly inventories. Creating new
and innovative specials as well as keeping our liquor costs under 20%, food costs under 22% monthly,
as well as labor costs. Working 12-15 hour days 6 days a week were the norm in this industry with
being under the director of the entire department.
While still being General Manager of the diner I was also tasked with Banquets and Special Events
Manager. Helping to make every bride and groom’s special day to calmest and most memorable, as
well as providing the best quality service possible to all guests. We also had Bachelor/Bachelorette
events, corporate parties or meetings, as well as Fraternity Dinners which I was in part involved with
organizing, decorating, and supplying staffing and all food and beverage components of the events.
