RE: Mr Juba Hamchache
Mr Hamchache is a full time student on the BEng(Hons) Electrical and Electronic
Engineering for academic year 2013114. He joined the University of Derby in
September 2013 as a direct entry to stage 2 of the programme.
During his studies, Mr Hamchache has shown a considerable enthusiasm and ability
to organise his work. During the initial stages of the programme, Mr Hamchache had
to familiarise himself with the University of Derby system of education and social life.
However, he soon excelled in all aspect of the course, hard work, communicating
well with his peers and staff at the University. He has a good grasp of concepts and
a sound understanding of practical techniques.
He has covered various modules ranging from purely technical to business and
management. ln terms of technical, the final year of the programme, he has covered
Electro-magnetic Compatibility, Digital Signal Processing, Electrical Power
Utilisation, Power electronics and applications and Sensors and Systems. ln
addition, his final year project is in Carbon Dioxide Controlling System which
involves the current technologies such as fibre optics, Labview, digital signal
analysis, control, Programming, and simulation. This is allowing Mr Hamchache to
gain various skills and sound engineering background which can allow him to
undertake jobs or post graduate studies in the many fields mentioned above.
