A overview of features in a collection of mast heads!

3. From researching magazine mastheads I have learnt that
most of them use some shade of red, this makes it a
convention. I believe they do this because red provides a
good contrast against most colours and thus would be
quite eye grabbing on a magazine rack.
When making my magazine, I plan to follow codes and
conventions and make use of the color red but would like
to try and developed it by throwing in more shades of
colour maybe some black, yellow maybe even possibly
green.
I have also learnt that most magazine mastheads make
use of bold text this makes it look strong and powerful on a
cover and make it present itself as the best magazine out
there.
