FRIDAY REWIND

Welcome to the ​Friday Rewind.​ Take a look back (or catch up) on some of your favorite shows (or guilty
pleasures) from Monday to Thursday. Here we go:
Monday
Warehouse 13 (SyFy)
“A Faire to Remember”
An artifact is used at a Renaissance fair to give a heckler a heart attack. Pete and a reluctant Jinks (he hates
those kinds of things) head to the fair to investigate. They are pointed towards a “do for” (a person who just fills in
and does things) who is none other than Oswald. Wherever he goes, there’s chaos. Come to find out, it’s an
admirer of his that cursed him to “be a hero”, so he could win a “princess’s” hand (princess of the fair). He fights
an evil being and survives to tell the tale. He’s now a hero.
Chloe secretly tries to get her sister, Claire out of her coma, and Myka volunteers to help. Not knowing the
outcome, they use artifacts to revive her. It works. She wakes up. Understandably she’s confused. Bad news is,
she still thinks she’s still 15. More bad news…the energy that was locked in Clair, is now in Myka. Claire isn’t
taking the transition well, though, but they try to get to know each other.

Myka isn’t doing too well, as the energy is doing a number on her. Artie realizes and tries to calm her down. The
good thing about this though is that Myka reveals a lot of aggression she had been holding in (cancer scare and
everything). But things get so bad, that the energy had to be put back into Claire – the energy needs a living body
to occupy. She goes back into the coma. They all vow to do everything together…no more secrets. Group hug.
Dancing with the Stars (ABC)
It’s Latin Week which means there was a whole heap of shaking of “bon bons” with the main bon bon shaker
himself, Ricky Martin. He joined the judges table to assess the happenings on the dance floor. But as you know it
was also results night, here’s how it went down:

“Good Times”
Grandad is broke. Dead broke. Try a ‘couple o’ million dollars in debt’ broke. Refinancing his house didn’t fare too
well, and now he’s in deep debt with Ed Uncler, the owner of the house he, Huey and Riley are living in. He had
to break the news to them, and of course, they weren’t happy. “Grandad, thanks for killing our future.” Cue the
Good Times theme song (and intro). So now, Grandad is scrimping and scraping, watching EVERYTHING
EVERYBODY eats.

But hold on, Unkle Ruckus ran for President? Yes. Fortunately he didn’t win, but he’s now running for Mayor.
Back to Grandad and his money woes.
Ed Uncler Jr. visits the Freemans and appears to be there to collect payment, calling it “asset re­management”.
He wants a big chunk of change in one month…$52,000.47 to be exact. He pays them another visit for the
money, but apparently, all they have to give him is lunch money. He makes them have other people move into the
house to get his money while they live in the garage. Grandad gets a job washing cars. In his desperation,

4. Grandad signed a loan agreement with Uncler Jr. without reading the fine print. A hundred and fifty percent
interest rate. Deeper in debt. But you’ll never believe how Uncler Jr., with the help of Uncle Ruckus, wants them
to repay the money. By being slaves just to keep the house. Foolishly, Grandad signs the agreement. Wow.
The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC)
Guests:​ Emma Stone, Seattle Mariners’ Robinson Cano, Keith Urban
Robinson Cano plays a trick by standing behind a cardboard cutout of himself as New York Yankees fans boo
“him”. As they boo him (the cutout) Cano steps out from behind the cutout to very embarrassed, unsuspecting
“fans”.
Emma Stone is there to talk about her upcoming movie, the much anticipated The Amazing Spider­Man 2. But
she doesn’t leave without having an epic lip sync battle with Fallon. Stone won. Both lip syncing performances
from her were great, but I think DJ Khaled’s All I do is Win (ft. T­Pain and Ludacris) clinched the victory for her.
Keith Urban came to sing his latest single, “Cop Car”.

“A Muddy Road”
Apparently, the opening of Fargo is a true story (Hmmm…OK). A guy sits alone late in an office and is dragged
out by Malvo and taken out into the garage. Malvo orders him to get in the trunk despite his pleas. At this point we
realize that he’s the guy from the very first episode who froze to death in the middle of nowhere in his underwear.
The police get a look at his face via surveillance camera and are trying to put the pieces together. They’re trying
to figure out who he is.
Malvo confronts bronze God Don about the ransom note he sent to Stavros (he figured out it was him because he
left bronzer residue on the note. Of course.). He realizes Don doesn’t really know anything and just wanted the
money to start up a Turkish spa. Billy takes over the blackmail from Don, despite working for Stavros. Bronzer is
confused. Me too. He buys Adderall off the street, sneaks into Stavros’s house and switches Stavros’s heart
medication with the Adderall. He leaves the ransom note beside Stavros’s dead dog…which he killed. Back in
security mode, he tells Stavros he wants to move onto the property, just in case the dog killer comes back.
Stavros agrees. He seems off kilter. The Adderall is working. Trying to get rid of one of the side effects of the
Adderall (I guess you get really hot), Stavros decides to take a shower. But in true biblical style (Malvo’s

6. voiceover was reciting bible verses from the Old Testament), while taking the shower, blood starts pouring out.
Malvo pumped blood into the plumbing system. Just for kicks.

Numbers and Mr. Wrench want answers from Lester about Hess. (spoilertv.com)
Gus is still troubled about the stranger he stopped in the car, and decided to run his plate. He realizes it belongs
to Lester. He approaches his Captain to tell him about the traffic stop and how the car Malvo was driving
belonged to one of the victims. The Captain is pissed, of course. He pays a visit to Bemidji PD where he meets
Molly and starts to put pieces together. They continue over burgers.
Lester decides to return to work much to the surprise of his co­workers. He stopped by Gina’s house to sign
insurance papers. All she needs to know? When is she going to get her money? But they don’t really get to talk
business, as she dives into the double homicide at his place and then starts flirting with him. “You need to get out
there. Date.” Outside Mr. Numbers and Mr. Wrench stand, watching. Back at the office Lester is failing miserably
at tending to a nasty looking gunshot wound in his hand that he sustained during the double murder. *Shudder*
The two goons paid him a visit to find out what happened to Hess. Molly pays him a visit as well, under the guise
of wanting to take out an insurance policy. She drops a folder on purpose. The folder contains a photo of Malvo.
She just wants to get a reaction out of him to cement her suspicions. She gets one. He’s flustered. She’s happy.
She tries to convince Deputy Oswalt that Lester knows Malvo, but he’s not having it. He wants her to drop Lester
off her radar.

7. The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC)
Guests:​ Diane Keaton, Donald Dehaan, David Byrne and the Atomic Band
Keaton talked about her book, Let’s Just Say It Wasn’t Pretty, and ended playing beer pong, well, wine pong. She
wanted red wine instead of beer. With ice. She didn’t seem to know how the game was played though. She
wasn’t really playing beer/wine pong, just throwing the balls at Jimmy. “I win!”
Donald Dehaan talks about his role as the Green Goblin in the upcoming blockbuster, The Amazing Spiderman 2.
He also talks about actually crying in a restaurant while eating a burger after being on a strict diet for 4 months. “It
was so delicious”.
David Byrne and the Atomic Band sing “Fantastic Man”.

Thursday

8. American Idol: Results Show (FOX)
“1 of 5 Voted Off”
OK, so they had a decision out of two options – 1) One person goes home as usual, or 2) No one goes home, but
two people will go home next week. Why are they doing this? Really? They chose and the viewers choose the
former.

Hell’s Kitchen (FOX)
“13 Chefs Compete”
Southern sorority Phi Mu is celebrating 160 years and the chefs are tasked in the first challenge with creating
dishes for the celebration. They had 40 minutes to plan and create three southern dishes consisting of chicken,
fish, and beef for the planning committee to taste and critique for the main event. After a head to head challenge,
the women won. Their prize? A night at the Ceasars Palace and $500 shopping spree. Season 10 winner,
Christina Wilson surprises them.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
“We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”
A very complicated case comes into the hospital in the form of siamese twins attached at the head. They also
share a brain. It’s going to take a huge team to separate the twins. Their pediatrician is uncomfortably close to
them, even though they’re 25 years old. Sadly, one doesn’t seem to fare well so they are taking her off of service.
After finding out that no one at Grey Sloan Memorial hospital is ever going to win the Harper Avery Award (the
Avery Foundation owns the hospital), they are losing talent and want Christina to appeal. But in order to heal from
the Harper Avery Award loss she accepts the invitation from Zurich doctors to speak on her precedented printed
conduit she placed in a baby to help save it’s life. Richard is upset to say the least.
During a presentation, she is asked a number of questions by a mysterious “stranger” shrouded in darkness. The
person is revealed to be…Burke. Yep! Dr. Preston Burke is back (well, for a while). You may remember him as
the man of Christina’s dreams who left her at the altar. Yeah…him. She hides her surprise well though. She found
out that it was Burke who got her to go to Zurich. She’s understandably ready to leave, but he entices her with a
“new kind of surgery” and wants her to scrub in. Being Christina, she couldn’t resist and goes to take a look at this
revolutionary surgery. The surgery itself doesn’t impress her, but the technology does. A hologram of a heart in
the middle of the surgery. Easily maneuverable with just the twist of the wrist. They talked about Christina’s big
dreams of printing a beating heart. He wants her to print it there.

10.
Burke wants Christina to stay in Zurich. (tvfanatic.com)
She wants to know why he wants her there. “Are you doing this because you want me back in your life?” He
proceeds to show her pictures of his family and tells her that two rabidly ambitious people can’t be together and
one has to stay home to keep the home fires burning. She lets him know that her life has changed. But he doesn’t
want her to work for him, he wants her to take over for him…give her the hospital. She’s taking the job.
