Working Title:
What is it called?
Advergame Project
Target Platform:
What media platform/platforms would you release the product on?
Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.
Genre:
What sort of a media product is it?
It is an Average. It is used for a game trailer.
Language / Territories
What countries would you release it in? Would it be suitable worldwide or is it targeted at a specific
population? Is it unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs?
It will be suitable for worldwide because it is just cars parking. Even if people don’t own cars it will
be better and then they can learn how to park and have fun driving.
Synopsis / Treatment / Story / How the game plays:
What is your product about? Discuss how it works to communicate a message to the audience?
What is the main message?
It is discussing the message by giving good gameplay to the audience to lure them into the game.
One Line SalesPitch:
Sum up your product in one sentence
My product is a fun virtual parking simulator.
Style (similar products and graphical style):
What product is yours similar to? Why have you used it for inspiration?
Discuss this in relation to conventions and art style
My Product is similar to a game called pixel parking. It is similar because the developers used
pixels for the game and it is also a parking game.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your product appeal to this person?
My target audience’s age is between 9 and 18 because that is the general ages for gamers. My
game is unisex because it is not gender specific, in game at all. The social status my game is
aiming for is rich and poor because as long as you own a phone, tablet or a laptop; most people do
these days. If you do you will be able to play.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
My game won’t have any offensive material because it is just a simple parking game that does not
mention anything about anything but parking.
Will you restrict younger audiences engaging with it?
No I won’t because this game meets all of the requirements to be a U.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
No it will not because I do not mention any religions or ethnicities.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I will not mention anything other than parking.
Is your product using characters/names/logos of existing ones?
No I have my own names, characters and logos apart from the normal road sign parking logo,
which is not copyrighted.
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing ones to not get sued for copyright
infringement and how have you achieved this?
Yes it is different because my product is from a bird’s eye view and a pixel game. It will not get
sued either because there is nothing to sue the game for. I have achieved this by making sure I
have not used any names apart from the one in my game. I will make off the makes of the car have
different names to the actual product.
