Bemidji Axemen Travel to Cedar Rapids to Face Titans

Bemidji, MN – The Bemidji Axemen will travel to Iowa this weekend for a game
against the Cedar Rapids Titans.
Cedar Rapids is coming off a second straight victory. They beat the Green Bay
Blizzard last weekend by a score of 50-32. They have an 8-4 record going into this
weekend and have a shot to clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win. Cedar Rapids
offense is averaging 46.9 points per game, which is 3rd best in the IFL. They have
converted 44% of third downs, which is good for the 3rd best percentage in the IFL.
The Titans defense allows 36.8 points per game, a number that is second best in the
league.
The Titans passing attack is led by Sam Durley who has completed 119 of 217 for
1384 yards and 27 touchdowns. Durley is second in the league in yards per game
with a 153.8 average per game. Washaun Ealey leads the Cedar Rapids rushing
attack. Ealey rushes for 37.8 yards per game and has rushed for 18 touchdowns.
