As with all crushers, the maintenance of a crusher
depends on how it is applied and taking a proactive
approach to maintenance items like wear parts.
Replacing wear parts before they are worn out
costs less and improves the crusher’s performance,
ultimately saving money, increasing uptime, and
providing crusher longevity.
Mills
DB provides the necessary experience to ensure
Mill shutdown execution is carried out safely, timely
and effectively. Tasks grouped according to their
importance (low, medium, critical) to the continued
mill operation and used to prioritise objectives with
budgetary and time constraints. Mill shutdowns are
too often extended through one task taking more
time and resources than expected, but if properly
understood tasks can be prioritised and critical
tasks assigned more resources.
• Slurry pipe inspections
• Pipe spool replacement
• Mantle and Throat liner changes
• Pipe & bearing hotspot inspection
& maintenance
• Feed & discharge seal replacement

Access Solutions
Mast Climbers
Applying HEK’s latest mast climbing technologies,
DB Yurra utilises the MS Compact work
platform to access even the most challenging
variety of uses at every construction site, in
industry, power plants, process plants, mining
operations and special events, the MS Compact
work platform is capable of delivering heavy
machinery, tools and personnel with precision
architectural layouts.
Overcoming access limitations previously
experienced by the standard range of mast
climbing work platforms, the MS Compact work
platform allows DB to provide extensive logistical
advantages by delivering a full day’s production
With carrying capacity of 4000kg, up to a height of
200m, the MSM Super work platforms are capable
of being adjusted in both length and height to cater
for low-rise and high-rise projects and are able
to deliver and position all types of loads within a
centimetre of the location required.
Originally intended to provide access to power
plant boilers during maintenance shutdowns
where entry point sizes are limited, the innovative
design of the MS Compact work platform allows
the passing of spaces just 84cm or 34 inches wide.
With demonstrated capabilities now extending
beyond power plants, the innovative MS Compact
work platform is widely used to overcome
during installation, and pulp mills where access is
challenging and highly congested.
The MS Compact work platform provides
ergonomic working conditions for employees,
heavy tools and machinery are always within easy
reach. Additionally, the use of steel pins instead of
nuts and bolts substantially decreases assembly
and dismantling times compared to traditional
access increases productivity on-site and provides
With a focus on safety, DB operate mast
