It is my pleasure to write this letter in support of Joe Woll’s application for a position with your
company. Joe has worked at Mohawk Day Camp for the past three summers. For two summers,
Joe worked as a General Counselor in our Senior Camp division. In this capacity, Joe stood out
for his ability to connect with the campers in his charge, effectively balancing the role of both
leader and friend.
Based upon Joe’s consistent demonstration of maturity, leadership, responsibility and hard
work, we elevated his position to that of a Lead Counselor during his third season. As a Lead
Counselor, Joe continued with his prior responsibilities, but was also expected to mentor new
staff, assist leadership staff and take on additional responsibilities in the Head Counselor’s
absence.
Joe is highly respected by campers, peers and leadership staff. He has a strong work ethic,
terrific interpersonal skills, responds well to constructive criticism and is always willing to help
others. As a team member, Joe lends support, energy and guidance to others on his team. Joe
will be an asset to any organization he joins and I recommend him without reservation.
