Oversaw deployable SATCOM support providing a SECRET communications backbone to austere
conditions world-wide with minimal notice. Services provided include FTP data transfer, video-

Served as the direct liaison between the military unit and L3 Communications/SPAWAR, CompTIA
accredited training facilities, and ViaSAT resulting in scheduling of training for over 50 unit personneland

Responsible for the accountability, maintenance, and proper storage of over $10,000,000 of company

Satellite Communications Team Chief (Team Leader), JISTF, Qatar (September 2011-March2012)
Hand selected over 12 peers to deploy in support of Psychological Operation as the SATCOM Team Chief
providing a satellite dissemination platform to conduct operations in 11 CENTCOM countries.
Provided an independently managed (unit managed) satellite network medium that transported and
archived over 150 gigabytes of visual graphics and data that directly supported critical SOF missions.
Authored and tested a “pre-task checklist” for unit’s deployable SATCOM assets to ensure maximum
response time with minimum human error.
Provided technical acumen that allowed all network assets to increase data transfer rates up to 771% and
commended by management with military award/medal.
Managed team schedule to allow each team member to travel to Kuwait and receive Fiber Optic
Terminating & Splicing certification and CompTIA Security+ training while not in direct support of unit
objective.
Supported company help deskby responding to local trouble tickets and applying troubleshooting measures
to resolve connectivity issues.

Responsible for the maintenance and preventative services of over $15,500,000 of company
communication equipment. Required to monitor and schedule service with outside organization in
accordance to policy. Received 100% inspection rating from senior maintenance officials for proficient and
timely services.
Company Operations Supervisor/ Satellite Communications Team Member, C. Company, 3rd MISB (January
2007-December 2010)
Worked with SOCOM and USASOC officials to perform initial fielding and testing of first IP based
SATCOM platform specifically designed to disseminate Psychological Operations material. The data this
testing provided resulted in the acquisition of a $10,000,000 satellite infrastructure and over 150 nodes
purchased by the government.
Successfully deployed first of these newly acquired nodes to Korea in support Psychological Operations
training exercises and further testing/validating systemcapabilities.

Worked in conjunction with Air Force Commando Solo in simulated FEMA disasterrelief exercise.
Provided SATCOM platform (SDN-Lite) to transfer emergency public service announcements onto
medium for Commando Solo to broadcast over disasterarea.
