I write this letter today as a professional reference for Mr. Joe Rucker. I serve as
the Vice President for Professional Development at the Association of Christian
Schools International (ACSI). Joe worked in our Certification Department as a
certification application evaluator for 17 years.
Serving in our Certification Department requires acute skills for tracking detailed
information, analyzing university transcripts, and interfacing with a specialized
database for this purpose. In addition to certification application evaluation, Joe
interfaced with our members and constituency via phone and email providing
applicants with the needed information or documentation.
There are periods of the year when the volume of certification applications and
queries coming through the department increases dramatically which causes
increased stress and pressure. Joe handled this with very well.
I can also commend Joe for his willingness to do what I asked of him, even if it
required overtime hours. Additionally, Joe managed our social media presence to
our members and constituency for a period of time during a transition of staff.
