have fulltime vacancies for a
junior and senior superintendent
As a superintendent you are part of the technical department. You will be responsible for the
nautical/technical conditions of the vessel assigned to you on a daily basis and for periodic maintenance
and surveys. You will participate in the new building supervision team and support the company’s safety
and environmental policy.
Responsibilities:
 Being the first contact for the vessel’s staff with regard to day-to-day technical
and nautical management
 Arranging technical support for the vessels
 Monitoring maintenance status
 Scheduling and supervising repairs, surveys and dry dockings on board the vessels
 Preparing ship’s budget and submitting for approval
 Controlling allocated budget
Requirements:
 Higher technical education (MB, MC or MAROF) for senior, middle technical educational level for
junior position
 Working experience as a chief engineer or 2nd engineer
 Good verbal and written communication and reporting skills in English and Dutch
 Team player mentality
 Willing to travel frequently
 Flexible “24/7” attitude
