SUMMARY
The 20 claim Ruby 773182 Claim Group (“Property”) is located within the historic Slocan
mining camp area 445 kilometres east-northeast of Vancouver and adjacent and east of
Slocan Lake and the village of Slocan City. The Property covers an area of 3,714 hectares
with dimensions of 14 kilometres north-south and up to five kilometres east-west. Most
resources and infrastructure requirements for a preliminary exploration and
development program could be found at Slocan City or Castlegar some 65 kilometers
distant.
The Property is entirely underlain by the Nelson Batholith which occupies the central
portion of the Kootenay Arc, a 400 kilometre long curving belt of early Palaeozoic to
Mesozoic sedimentary, volcanic, and crystalline metamorphic rocks trending northeast
for 160 kilometres across Washington State into British Columbia, thence north along
Kootenay Lake and northwest into the Revelstoke area.
The historic Slocan Mining Camp, where active exploration began around 1865, became
one of the most productive mining camps in the province, and achieved peak
production in 1918. The camp and surrounding areas includes 175 documented mineral
deposits of which more than half are mineral producers; 13 mines have produced more
than one million grams of silver. The Property includes four of these mineral producers;
the most being the 91 tonnes from the White Hope property.
Four indicated primary structures and four structural intersections were delineated in
the structure analysis of four claims of the Property. Both the primary structures and
the cross-structures are significant as mineral controls in this geological environment
based on the Nelson intrusive. The mineral controls may be for a potential polymetallic
vein hosted or for a potential porphyry resource. Both types are indicated on the
Property with the vein type predominant as polymetallic veins of silver, lead, zinc and at
times gold.
Cross-structure “A” is the most significant as it is near the White Hope past producer
(Minfile 082FNW165); one of the most developed and productive properties of the five
past producers included in the Property (Table II). Cross-structure “B” is also located
near a known mineral zone; the Northern Light showing (Minfile 082F167).
Thus, the cross-structures should be explored for a potential depth related mineral
feeder zone where most pertinent geological information would be available to
locations of a potential porphyry mineral resource. The potential being indicated in the
polymetallic veins typically peripheral to a porphyry (Figure 8) and the several veins and
stockworks at the Springer Creek showing (Minfile 082FNW224).

INTRODUCTION
In February 2015 a Structural Analysis was completed on Tenures 1034221, 1034222,
773182, and 773162 of the 20 claim Ruby 773182 Claim Group. The purpose of the
program was to locate any cross-structures which may be integral in geological controls
to potentially economic mineral zones comparable to other productive mineral zones in
the immediate area.
Information for this report was obtained from sources as cited under Selected
References, from previous work the writer has done in the general area, and from the
information gained from the completion of the structural analysis.

The earliest reported activity in this vicinity was on the Cameronian claim (Lot 5976), located about
0.5 kilometre north of the Hope No. 2 claim. The Cameronian workings in 1897 included a 24-
metre shaft; some ore was reportedly soaked for shipment. The claim was Crown-granted in 1903
to the Cameronian Gold and Silver Mining Company, Limited Liability. The adjacent Sligo claim (Lot
5975) was probably also held by the company.

History: Ruby 773182 Claim Group Area (cont’d)
Hope past producer (cont’d)
The Quebec claim (Lot 2885), located about 0.5 kilometre southwest of the Hope No. 2 and lying
across Cameronian creek, was Crown-granted to Wm. Harrison in 1899.
The Hope No. 2 claim (Lot 2884) was Crown-granted in 1899 to R. Cooper and H. Sheran.
Development work from 1898 or earlier included open cuts and a 15-metre adit. No further work
was reported until 1922 when owner R. Cooper resumed explorations. Regina interests acquired
the property and in May 1927 incorporated Piedmont Mines Limited to put the property into
production. A 1676-metre long tramway was installed and some 435 tonnes of ore were shipped.
A new adit exposed only limited mineralization and work ceased in 1928.
A claim group owned in 1927 by F. and J. Binnish, of Slocan City, and comprising the First Thought
FR, Success, Motherlode FR and Diamond Jubilee FR, was located below the Hope No. 2 claim on
the Cameronian creek slope. Surface work was reported on lead-zinc showings located about 305
metres lower than the Hope showings.
By 1948 the Hope No. 2 claim was owned by R.D. Kennedy of South Slocan. That year a lessee
shipped 23 tonnes of mineralized dump rock. In 1951 lessee W. Foster shipped 11 tonnes of ore.
The showings were reportedly examined and sampled for Cominco Ltd. in 1949 by E.H. Caldwell,
who estimated a potential of about 129,730 tonnes at 263.9 grams per tonne silver, 7.9 per cent
lead and 17.4 per cent zinc (D.G. Allen, 28/11/84, in Chapleau Resources Ltd Prospectus,
17/05/85).
When examined by A.B. Irwin for the Geological Survey of Canada in 1950, the workings included 4
adits totalling about 177 metres of crosscuts and drifts, and a raise to a 10 metre diameter glory
hole which was the source of most of the ore shipments.
Chapleau Resources Ltd. in October 1984, optioned the Hope No. 2 from Lena Kennedy of South
Slocan, the Hope 3-7 located claims, and the overlying Hope 8 and 9 (40 units) from R.D. Kennedy,
of Cranbrook; the company also acquired the Quebec claim; prospecting and sampling was
reported in the fall of 1984.
Noranda Exploration Company optioned the property from Chapleau in October 1986. Chapleau
in January 1987, obtained an option on the Cameronian claim from D. Cameron, of Vancouver.
Work 1986-87 included geochemical soil, silt and rock surveys, mag, EM and HLEM surveys.
Trench of anomalous targets located narrow beds of low grade zinc.
Drilling in 1988 intersected stratiform massive sulphide zones of zinc (Assessment Report 17323).
In 1991, Kokanee Explorations Ltd. drilled 9 holes, totalling 255.5 metres.
They indicated a reserve of 13,600 tonnes grading 59.3 grams per tonne silver, 1.3 per cent lead
and 3.6 per cent zinc is readily available to open pit mining with 1.7:1.0 waste to ore ratio
(Assessment Report 21324).
A sample from the dump taken in 1987, assayed 320 grams per tonne silver, 0.03 grams per tonne
gold, 0.0563 per cent copper, 7.8 per cent lead and 21.4 per cent zinc (Open File 1988-11). A
sample taken 500 metres to the southwest assayed 0.32 per cent molybdenum, 0.024 per cent
lead and 0.029 per cent zinc (Open File 1988-11).

History: Ruby 773182 Claim Group Area (cont’d)
OTTAWA past producer (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au)
Minfile 082FNW155
One kilometre east
The history of the Ottawa mine dates back to 1896 when the Ottawa claim (Lot 4968) was located,
however, it was not until 1902 that major development work by a Pittsburg syndicate was
attempted. By 1904 the property was developed by 1067 metres of tunnel on 4 levels. It was
operated intermittently by the owners until 1908 and then by leasers until 1913. In 1913 the
group of over 20 claims was acquired by the Consolidated Mining & Smelting Co. Ltd. and
extensive development work was carried on until 1918 when the mine was closed and the
equipment removed.
The workings at this time consisted of 5 adits at vertical intervals of 30.4 metres and a 6th level
driven from a shaft. In 1920 a 50-ton per day mill was constructed. Leasers continued to operate
the mine until 1935. In 1935 the group, consisting of 31 claims, was acquired by the Ottawa Silver
Mining & Milling syndicate of Spokane, who, in 1937, built a 100-ton per day flotation plant which
burned shortly after. They drove an 8th level as a crosscut for 366 metres and then drifted on the
vein. Leasers worked the property intermittently from 1941 to 1950. An option on the property
was given to Violamac Mines (B.C.) Ltd. in 1950.
The following year Harrison Drilling and Exploration Co. Ltd. of Vancouver held operating control
under an agreement with Violamac Mines. Harrison Drilling and Exploration Co. Ltd. was
reorganized in 1953 under the name of Hardex Mines Ltd. and a diamond drilling program was
carried out. In 1956 the owners resumed operations. An option on the property was given to the
Yukon Western Mining & Prospecting Co. Ltd. of Slocan City in 1958. In 1960 the name of this
company was changed to Skylane Mines Ltd. Most of the work done at this time was confined to
stoping in the West vein on No. 8 level. In 1960 Ottawa Silver Mines Ltd. bought the option from
Skylane Vines Ltd. Later in the year an option was given to the Silver Buckle Mining Co. of Wallace,
Idaho. This option was dropped in December after a geological examination of the property had
been made. A 9th level was started at this time. In 1962 a ventilation raise was driven from No. 8
level to No. 6 level, a distance of approximately 143 metres, following the dip of the vein. In
driving the raise, several lenses of very high-grade ore were opened up and subsequently stoped
out.
The No. 9 level drift was extended to a length of 152 metres. During 1963 and 1964 exploration
and development work was carried out on No. 9 level. A 75-ton mill was built in 1963 and put into
part time operation in 1964. In 1963 the company was reorganized under the name Slocan
Ottawa Mines Ltd. In 1980 the mine was owned by the Slocan Development Corporation Limited
and leased to C. Thickett and Memphis Mines Ltd. between 1976 and 1982.
Total recorded production between 1903 and 1984 amounts to 26,476 tonnes mined, yielding
55,940,682 grams of silver, 982 grams of gold, 360,085 kilograms of lead, 12,774 kilograms of zinc
and 793 kilograms of copper.

WHITE HOPE past producer (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au)
Minfile 082FNW165

The history of the property prior to 1928 is obscure. Cairnes (Memoir 184) reports that it was
formerly known as the Paystreak, however the only Paystreak mentioned in the Annual Reports of
the Minister of Mines (1897 and 1902) is reported to be on Twelvemile Creek. Maps of the area
show Twelvemile and Tenmile creeks as tributaries of Kaslo creek. However, according to the
1906 zinc commission report on the Enterprise mine, Tenmile creek empties into Slocan Lake
about 16 kilometres south of New Denver. On maps of the area this creek is called Enterprise
creek. The 1897 report listed the Paystreak property on Twelvemile creek under the heading
"Tenmile creek". Due to these changes in names, the location of the Paystreak property is not
clear.
In 1928 the White Hope group, consisting of 6 claims and a fraction, was owned by Peter Strand
and C.W. Tipping of Slocan. During the year a 46-metre tunnel was driven in limestone by leasers
C. Hansen and associates of Idaho. The mine was closed in 1929 and remained so except in 1935

Several quartz veins and stockworks are located within the Nelson Intrusives lying east of Slocan
Silver Camp and south of Springer Creek. A series of logging roads provide access to prospectors
and geologists. During 2010, a prospecting effort discovered several mineralized quartz veins along
the road system and in old workings. In particular, along the new Ottawa logging road, which
heads uphill from the Springer Creek Forest Service Road, there were several sites located, grab
sampled and analyzed by Tom Kennedy. This is the Ruby Steel(e) Property of Kootenay Gold

The country rock is porphyritic Nelson granite enclosing a large pendant of black argillaceous
quartzite and minor limestone, largely altered to skarn. The pendant rocks are cut by small
irregular bodies of granitic rocks and pegmatite. The ore occurs in skarn that consists of garnet and
calcite. The ore minerals are pyrrhotite, sphalerite and galena forming bands and disseminations.

The property is developed on nine levels, 5 of which are serviced by adits driven at vertical intervals
of about 30 metres. These workings explore a broad shear/breccia zone in coarse grained,
porphyritic Nelson quartz monzonite cut by felsite and lamprophyre dikes. The zone trends nearly
north and dips easterly from 25 to 45 degrees. The zone comprises two rather well-defined lodes
known as the West or Noble and East or Ottawa veins, respectively.

Mining at the surface and underground indicates that these lodes are not exactly parallel, but
approach each other towards the south and may join. On the No. 5 level the lodes are about 10
metres apart Most of the work has been done on the East lode that is 0.6 to 6 metres wide,
composed of crushed and broken granite, gouge and vein material - the latter having been stoped
in places across a width of as much as 2.4 metres. The West lode is as much as 15 metres wide in
places and it is reported to have produced some good ore in the uppermost workings. On No. 8
level, the stoped vein on the West lode, strikes 025 to 040 degrees and dips 20 degrees southeast.
The vein is up to 0.3 metres wide - bounded by a sharply defined gouge- filled slip along the
footwall and an irregular hanging wall. The East lode on the No. 8 level is strong and composed of
about 1 metre of gouge and breccia cemented by quartz. It strikes 170 degrees and dips 30 to 40
degrees east.
REPUBLIC showing (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au)
Minfile 082FNW168
One kilometre west
Past production occurred from the Republic vein which is less than 75 centimetres thick. The
quartz vein contains pyrite, argentite, native silver and gold with minor galena and sphalerite.
Bornite are also reported. The vein is hosted in potassium-feldspar porphyritic granite. Wallrock
alteration includes quartz, sericite, chlorite, and carbonate. It extends less than 1 metre from the
quartz veins. There are at least 2 main quartz veins on the property. They strike west and dip
moderately to gently north.
The Republic vein has been developed by an inclined shaft, collared at an elevation of 1334 metres.
The incline has been sunk to a depth of some 18 metres on the vein which is approximately 1-
metre wide. The vein strikes 085 degrees and dips 30 degrees to the north and is offset slightly by
step-faults striking 025 degrees to 045 degrees with dips from 65 degrees to 85 degrees northwest.
Short irregular drifts and slopes have been driven from the incline. Another shaft, some 244 metres
west of the above shaft, has been sunk on what appears to be the extension of the Republic vein.
The vein is 0.6-metre wide, strikes 050 degrees and dips 35 degrees northwest. Further west 2
levels have been driven to crosscut the vein but neither one did before the work was stopped.
The Bell No. 2 adit, west of the Republic adits, follows a discontinuous vein which strikes 020
degrees and dips 45 degrees southeast. Beyond 18 metres from the portal the vein is complexly
faulted. The veins in the eastern portion of the property generally strike east and dip gently north
whereas the west veins strike northeasterly with a flat dip to the northwest. Ore shoots within the
veins are erratically distributed and are elongated down the dip. The Crown-granted mineral claims
have numerous showings and surface workings and a few claims which were previously worked on
and surveyed were covered by some of the Ross claims in 1922. The Slocan Bob claim was covered
by Ross No. 9 and the Ross No. 11 claims. The Club claim (082FNW169), which has two veins
reported to be at right angles to one another, were covered by Ross No. 10 and Ross No. 12 claims.

Minfile 082FNW172
200 metres west
The Lakeview property comprises the Lakeview No. 8 claim (Crown granted in 1898) and located
MS claims, Selmon, Maur I and II. The property is underlain predominantly by granitic rocks of the
Nelson batholith. The focus of exploration and development is a northerly trending vein exposed
for a strike length of 100 metres at surface and 35 metres underground. The vein, consisting of
lenses and stringers of quartz, dips 70 degrees east and is hosted by highly crushed granite.
Disseminated sulphides occurring in the wall rocks and the vein system include pyrite, galena and
sphalerite, together with a minor amount of chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. At surface chalcocite and
covellite occur associated with late carbonate gangue replacing chalcopyrite and cerussite replaces
galena.
Development on the property consists of open cuts, an adit, a shallow shaft and a small floatation
plant. The shaft, about 5 metres deep, remains from the original workings. At the south side of
the shaft, the quartz vein has a width of 0.7 metre, which narrows to 40 centimetres at a point 9
metres south, where a sample taken across cellular rusty quartz assayed 17 grams per tonne gold
and 410 grams per tonne silver. The adit is a crosscut for 15 metres on a course of 125 degrees to
the vein, then 12 metres at 155 degrees, and further drifting for 23 metres, striking 175 degrees to
the face that lies directly below the end of stripping on surface. There is an ore shoot at the second
bend in the tunnel that connects to the shaft - the best mineralization is exposed in the first 15 to
18 metres of drift section of the tunnel.

Figure 8. Conceptual Model of Porphyry-Polymetallic Vein Association
(Base Map from Corbett)
INTERPRETATION & CONCLUSIONS
Four indicated primary structures and four structural intersections were delineated
from the structural analysis of the four-claim of the Ruby 773182 Claim Group
(“Property”). Both the primary structures and the cross-structures are significant as
mineral controls in this geological environment based on the Nelson intrusive. The
mineral controls may be for a potential polymetallic vein hosted or for a potential
porphyry resource. Both types are indicated on the Property with the vein type
predominant.
Although eleven of fourteen Minfile mineral properties reported on herein appear to
be related to polymetallic veins, the Springer Creek showing (Minfile 082FNW224) with
the several veins and stockworks, indicates the porphyry indication at surface with the
potential of a major porphyry at depth. This would pattern the porphyry model by the
polymetallic veins forming a halo to a porphyry (Figure 8.).

Interpretation & Conclusions (cont’d)
In any event, the mineralized structures are important as to an interpretation to the
location of a potential porphyritic resource. The greatest information available might
be at a cross–structural location where the maximum degree of structural variance
should occur, such as brecciation and expansive stockworks. This could also provide a
conduit for pressurized hydrothermal solutions released from depth and according to
variable depositional requirements, the mineralogical and alteration features at
surface could provide the required information to additional exploration in this specific
area.
As to the four cross-structures, the location of cross-structure “A” should be the initial
are to explore. This location is near the White Hope past producer (Minfile
082FNW165); one of the most developed and productive properties (91 tonnes) of the
five past producers included in the 20 claim Ruby 773182 Claim Group (Table II). With
the three main White Hope adits exploring and developing mineral zones hosted by a
northwesterly trending structure (145/325 degrees) and the prime “AD” structure of
the structure analysis, indicated with a parallel trend some 200 metres to the east and
cross-structure “A” some 200 metres northwest along structure “AD”, cross-structure
“A” may be the main mineral feeder zone an en-echelon White Hope structure.
There are mineral properties in the Slocan area that reportedly have an increased
mineral zone or an “ore-shoot” at a cross-structure with the mineralization
proportionately decreasing with the distance along one or both structures from the
“ore-shoot”.
A comparable feature may occur at the Northern Light showing (Minfile 082F167)
where two short adits were completed to develop a mineral zone of an unreported
mineral control. The mineral showing is located 250 metres from cross-structure “D”
where a main mineral “feeder” zone may occur.
Subsequent to the exploration and evaluation of the cross-structural “A” and “D”
areas, areas “B” and “C” should be explored utilizing the geological information
acquired from the previous locations.
In the exploration of the areas, samples should be analyzed for pathfinder minerals
and all types, degrees, and environment, of alteration should be noted.

Page 4 of 33 _______________________________________________________________________ SUMMARY The 20 claim Ruby 773182 Claim Group (“Property”) is located within the historic Slocan mining camp area 445 kilometres east-northeast of Vancouver and adjacent and east of Slocan Lake and the village of Slocan City. The Property covers an area of 3,714 hectares with dimensions of 14 kilometres north-south and up to five kilometres east-west. Most resources and infrastructure requirements for a preliminary exploration and development program could be found at Slocan City or Castlegar some 65 kilometers distant. The Property is entirely underlain by the Nelson Batholith which occupies the central portion of the Kootenay Arc, a 400 kilometre long curving belt of early Palaeozoic to Mesozoic sedimentary, volcanic, and crystalline metamorphic rocks trending northeast for 160 kilometres across Washington State into British Columbia, thence north along Kootenay Lake and northwest into the Revelstoke area. The historic Slocan Mining Camp, where active exploration began around 1865, became one of the most productive mining camps in the province, and achieved peak production in 1918. The camp and surrounding areas includes 175 documented mineral deposits of which more than half are mineral producers; 13 mines have produced more than one million grams of silver. The Property includes four of these mineral producers; the most being the 91 tonnes from the White Hope property. Four indicated primary structures and four structural intersections were delineated in the structure analysis of four claims of the Property. Both the primary structures and the cross-structures are significant as mineral controls in this geological environment based on the Nelson intrusive. The mineral controls may be for a potential polymetallic vein hosted or for a potential porphyry resource. Both types are indicated on the Property with the vein type predominant as polymetallic veins of silver, lead, zinc and at times gold. Cross-structure “A” is the most significant as it is near the White Hope past producer (Minfile 082FNW165); one of the most developed and productive properties of the five past producers included in the Property (Table II). Cross-structure “B” is also located near a known mineral zone; the Northern Light showing (Minfile 082F167). Thus, the cross-structures should be explored for a potential depth related mineral feeder zone where most pertinent geological information would be available to locations of a potential porphyry mineral resource. The potential being indicated in the polymetallic veins typically peripheral to a porphyry (Figure 8) and the several veins and stockworks at the Springer Creek showing (Minfile 082FNW224).

Page 10 of 33 _______________________________________________________________________ History: Ruby 773182 Claim Group Area (cont’d) Hope past producer (cont’d) The Quebec claim (Lot 2885), located about 0.5 kilometre southwest of the Hope No. 2 and lying across Cameronian creek, was Crown-granted to Wm. Harrison in 1899. The Hope No. 2 claim (Lot 2884) was Crown-granted in 1899 to R. Cooper and H. Sheran. Development work from 1898 or earlier included open cuts and a 15-metre adit. No further work was reported until 1922 when owner R. Cooper resumed explorations. Regina interests acquired the property and in May 1927 incorporated Piedmont Mines Limited to put the property into production. A 1676-metre long tramway was installed and some 435 tonnes of ore were shipped. A new adit exposed only limited mineralization and work ceased in 1928. A claim group owned in 1927 by F. and J. Binnish, of Slocan City, and comprising the First Thought FR, Success, Motherlode FR and Diamond Jubilee FR, was located below the Hope No. 2 claim on the Cameronian creek slope. Surface work was reported on lead-zinc showings located about 305 metres lower than the Hope showings. By 1948 the Hope No. 2 claim was owned by R.D. Kennedy of South Slocan. That year a lessee shipped 23 tonnes of mineralized dump rock. In 1951 lessee W. Foster shipped 11 tonnes of ore. The showings were reportedly examined and sampled for Cominco Ltd. in 1949 by E.H. Caldwell, who estimated a potential of about 129,730 tonnes at 263.9 grams per tonne silver, 7.9 per cent lead and 17.4 per cent zinc (D.G. Allen, 28/11/84, in Chapleau Resources Ltd Prospectus, 17/05/85). When examined by A.B. Irwin for the Geological Survey of Canada in 1950, the workings included 4 adits totalling about 177 metres of crosscuts and drifts, and a raise to a 10 metre diameter glory hole which was the source of most of the ore shipments. Chapleau Resources Ltd. in October 1984, optioned the Hope No. 2 from Lena Kennedy of South Slocan, the Hope 3-7 located claims, and the overlying Hope 8 and 9 (40 units) from R.D. Kennedy, of Cranbrook; the company also acquired the Quebec claim; prospecting and sampling was reported in the fall of 1984. Noranda Exploration Company optioned the property from Chapleau in October 1986. Chapleau in January 1987, obtained an option on the Cameronian claim from D. Cameron, of Vancouver. Work 1986-87 included geochemical soil, silt and rock surveys, mag, EM and HLEM surveys. Trench of anomalous targets located narrow beds of low grade zinc. Drilling in 1988 intersected stratiform massive sulphide zones of zinc (Assessment Report 17323). In 1991, Kokanee Explorations Ltd. drilled 9 holes, totalling 255.5 metres. They indicated a reserve of 13,600 tonnes grading 59.3 grams per tonne silver, 1.3 per cent lead and 3.6 per cent zinc is readily available to open pit mining with 1.7:1.0 waste to ore ratio (Assessment Report 21324). A sample from the dump taken in 1987, assayed 320 grams per tonne silver, 0.03 grams per tonne gold, 0.0563 per cent copper, 7.8 per cent lead and 21.4 per cent zinc (Open File 1988-11). A sample taken 500 metres to the southwest assayed 0.32 per cent molybdenum, 0.024 per cent lead and 0.029 per cent zinc (Open File 1988-11).

Page 11 of 33 _______________________________________________________________________ History: Ruby 773182 Claim Group Area (cont’d) OTTAWA past producer (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au) Minfile 082FNW155 One kilometre east The history of the Ottawa mine dates back to 1896 when the Ottawa claim (Lot 4968) was located, however, it was not until 1902 that major development work by a Pittsburg syndicate was attempted. By 1904 the property was developed by 1067 metres of tunnel on 4 levels. It was operated intermittently by the owners until 1908 and then by leasers until 1913. In 1913 the group of over 20 claims was acquired by the Consolidated Mining & Smelting Co. Ltd. and extensive development work was carried on until 1918 when the mine was closed and the equipment removed. The workings at this time consisted of 5 adits at vertical intervals of 30.4 metres and a 6th level driven from a shaft. In 1920 a 50-ton per day mill was constructed. Leasers continued to operate the mine until 1935. In 1935 the group, consisting of 31 claims, was acquired by the Ottawa Silver Mining & Milling syndicate of Spokane, who, in 1937, built a 100-ton per day flotation plant which burned shortly after. They drove an 8th level as a crosscut for 366 metres and then drifted on the vein. Leasers worked the property intermittently from 1941 to 1950. An option on the property was given to Violamac Mines (B.C.) Ltd. in 1950. The following year Harrison Drilling and Exploration Co. Ltd. of Vancouver held operating control under an agreement with Violamac Mines. Harrison Drilling and Exploration Co. Ltd. was reorganized in 1953 under the name of Hardex Mines Ltd. and a diamond drilling program was carried out. In 1956 the owners resumed operations. An option on the property was given to the Yukon Western Mining & Prospecting Co. Ltd. of Slocan City in 1958. In 1960 the name of this company was changed to Skylane Mines Ltd. Most of the work done at this time was confined to stoping in the West vein on No. 8 level. In 1960 Ottawa Silver Mines Ltd. bought the option from Skylane Vines Ltd. Later in the year an option was given to the Silver Buckle Mining Co. of Wallace, Idaho. This option was dropped in December after a geological examination of the property had been made. A 9th level was started at this time. In 1962 a ventilation raise was driven from No. 8 level to No. 6 level, a distance of approximately 143 metres, following the dip of the vein. In driving the raise, several lenses of very high-grade ore were opened up and subsequently stoped out. The No. 9 level drift was extended to a length of 152 metres. During 1963 and 1964 exploration and development work was carried out on No. 9 level. A 75-ton mill was built in 1963 and put into part time operation in 1964. In 1963 the company was reorganized under the name Slocan Ottawa Mines Ltd. In 1980 the mine was owned by the Slocan Development Corporation Limited and leased to C. Thickett and Memphis Mines Ltd. between 1976 and 1982. Total recorded production between 1903 and 1984 amounts to 26,476 tonnes mined, yielding 55,940,682 grams of silver, 982 grams of gold, 360,085 kilograms of lead, 12,774 kilograms of zinc and 793 kilograms of copper.

Cairnes (Memoir 184) reports that it was formerly known as the Paystreak, however the only Paystreak mentioned in the Annual Reports of the Minister of Mines (1897 and 1902) is reported to be on Twelvemile Creek. Maps of the area show Twelvemile and Tenmile creeks as tributaries of Kaslo creek. However, according to the 1906 zinc commission report on the Enterprise mine, Tenmile creek empties into Slocan Lake about 16 kilometres south of New Denver. On maps of the area this creek is called Enterprise creek. The 1897 report listed the Paystreak property on Twelvemile creek under the heading "Tenmile creek". Due to these changes in names, the location of the Paystreak property is not clear. In 1928 the White Hope group, consisting of 6 claims and a fraction, was owned by Peter Strand and C.W. Tipping of Slocan. During the year a 46-metre tunnel was driven in limestone by leasers C. Hansen and associates of Idaho. The mine was closed in 1929 and remained so except in 1935 and 1942 when it was operated by C.W. Tipping. In 1947 the Spokane Slocan Co. acquired the White Hope group along with the Homestake (082FNW213), Senator (082FNW164), Get-There-Eli (082FNW191) and V & M (082FNW191) claims. During 1950 and 1951 J.J. McDonell worked the property. In 1957 the Dolores-Dorothy Exploration and Mining Co. Ltd. of Nelson acquired the White Hope, White Hope No. 1, Homestake and Senator Crown-granted claims and 6 recorded claims. Adit locations are shown on Geological Survey of Canada Map 272A. The Northern Light was located in 1902 and Crown granted (Lot 11130) in 1916. The only development work is two short adits from which there is no known ore production. International Cherokee Development and Manny Consultants conducted geochemical and geophysical surveys over the S and R claims between 1983 and 1986. On the No. 5 level the lodes are about 10 metres apart Most of the work has been done on the East lode that is 0.6 to 6 metres wide, composed of crushed and broken granite, gouge and vein material - the latter having been stoped in places across a width of as much as 2.4 metres. The West lode is as much as 15 metres wide in places and it is reported to have produced some good ore in the uppermost workings. On No. 8 level, the stoped vein on the West lode, strikes 025 to 040 degrees and dips 20 degrees southeast. The vein is up to 0.3 metres wide - bounded by a sharply defined gouge- filled slip along the footwall and an irregular hanging wall. The East lode on the No. 8 level is strong and composed of about 1 metre of gouge and breccia cemented by quartz. It strikes 170 degrees and dips 30 to 40 degrees east. REPUBLIC showing (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au) Minfile 082FNW168 One kilometre west Past production occurred from the Republic vein which is less than 75 centimetres thick. The quartz vein contains pyrite, argentite, native silver and gold with minor galena and sphalerite. Bornite are also reported. The vein is hosted in potassium-feldspar porphyritic granite. Wallrock alteration includes quartz, sericite, chlorite, and carbonate. It extends less than 1 metre from the quartz veins. There are at least 2 main quartz veins on the property. They strike west and dip moderately to gently north. The Republic vein has been developed by an inclined shaft, collared at an elevation of 1334 metres. The incline has been sunk to a depth of some 18 metres on the vein which is approximately 1- metre wide. The vein strikes 085 degrees and dips 30 degrees to the north and is offset slightly by step-faults striking 025 degrees to 045 degrees with dips from 65 degrees to 85 degrees northwest. Short irregular drifts and slopes have been driven from the incline. Another shaft, some 244 metres west of the above shaft, has been sunk on what appears to be the extension of the Republic vein. The vein is 0.6-metre wide, strikes 050 degrees and dips 35 degrees northwest. Further west 2 levels have been driven to crosscut the vein but neither one did before the work was stopped. The Bell No. 2 adit, west of the Republic adits, follows a discontinuous vein which strikes 020 degrees and dips 45 degrees southeast. Beyond 18 metres from the portal the vein is complexly faulted. The veins in the eastern portion of the property generally strike east and dip gently north whereas the west veins strike northeasterly with a flat dip to the northwest. Ore shoots within the veins are erratically distributed and are elongated down the dip. The Crown-granted mineral claims have numerous showings and surface workings and a few claims which were previously worked on and surveyed were covered by some of the Ross claims in 1922. Rich samples have reportedly been obtained from a shallow inclined shaft sunk on this vein. LAKEVIEW past producer (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au; Au-quartz veins) Minfile 082FNW172 200 metres west The Lakeview property comprises the Lakeview No. 8 claim (Crown granted in 1898) and located MS claims, Selmon, Maur I and II. The property is underlain predominantly by granitic rocks of the Nelson batholith. The focus of exploration and development is a northerly trending vein exposed for a strike length of 100 metres at surface and 35 metres underground. The vein, consisting of lenses and stringers of quartz, dips 70 degrees east and is hosted by highly crushed granite. Disseminated sulphides occurring in the wall rocks and the vein system include pyrite, galena and sphalerite, together with a minor amount of chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. At surface chalcocite and covellite occur associated with late carbonate gangue replacing chalcopyrite and cerussite replaces galena. Development on the property consists of open cuts, an adit, a shallow shaft and a small floatation plant. The shaft, about 5 metres deep, remains from the original workings. At the south side of the shaft, the quartz vein has a width of 0.7 metre, which narrows to 40 centimetres at a point 9 metres south, where a sample taken across cellular rusty quartz assayed 17 grams per tonne gold and 410 grams per tonne silver. The adit is a crosscut for 15 metres on a course of 125 degrees to the vein, then 12 metres at 155 degrees, and further drifting for 23 metres, striking 175 degrees to the face that lies directly below the end of stripping on surface. There is an ore shoot at the second bend in the tunnel that connects to the shaft - the best mineralization is exposed in the first 15 to 18 metres of drift section of the tunnel. EXCHANGE past producer (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au) Minfile 082FNW172 200 metres east A quartz vein in Nelson granite has been explored by three adits, a shaft and a 30-metre winze sunk from the lowest adit. The vein is 1.5 metres wide, banded with clear and milky white quartz and pyrite accompanied by some galena, sphalerite and ancillary silver-bearing minerals.

The workings consist of a crosscut adit that intercepts two vein structures. Drifting on the principal structure explores a fault fissure system that strikes 160 degrees and dips 35 degrees northeast. This contains lenses of quartz up to 46 centimetres wide, mineralized with pyrite, some galena, argentite and tetrahedrite. A second quartz vein, 15 metres further on at the face of the crosscut, strikes 025 degrees and dips 55 degrees southeast. This vein is 1.8 metres wide and contains some coarse pyrite cubes. MORNING STAR past producer (Polymetallic veins Ag-Pb-Zn+/-Au; Au-quartz veins) Minfile 082FNW216 Within Tenure 705781 The Morning Star occurrence is hosted by porphyritic potassium feldspar granite and hornblende- biotite diorite of the Middle Jurassic Nelson plutonic rocks, cut by numerous small felsic occasionally pegmatic dykes. The vein is mainly hosted by the diorite which is strongly silicified and locally kaolinized close to vein walls.

The early development consists of three main adits and several open cuts. The principal showing is on No. 2 level which has a total of 150 metres of drifts and crosscuts. The lode here is about 30 metres in length and has an average width of 25 centimetres. Most of the original ore shipments came from the upper adit which is about 25 metres long, with a raise to surface. The best part of the vein shows 5 to 15 centimetres of zinc mineralization. The lower adit is 15 metres long and exposes a wider vein section but with minor mineralization. There is another adit at the elevation of the upper adit which was driven 40 metres as a crosscut to intersect a parallel vein exposed in an open cut above, but no vein was encountered. In 1957, a new adit site was chosen to explore the vein system from a horizon about 15 metres below the lowest workings, however no worthwhile mineralization was encountered. In 1964, the workings were reopened by Western Standard Silver Mines Ltd. In 1986, Manny Consultants Ltd. surveyed the property as the JR claims. In 1897 and 1902, a total of 12 tonnes was shipped from the Paystreak; recovery was 19,128 grams of silver and 622 grams of gold. The total intermittent production from this property from 1935 to 1964 was 81 tonnes, yielding 155 grams of gold, 25,691 grams of silver, 11,424 kilograms of lead and 11,052 kilograms of zinc. Page 28 of 33 _______________________________________________________________________ Figure 8. Conceptual Model of Porphyry-Polymetallic Vein Association (Base Map from Corbett) INTERPRETATION & CONCLUSIONS Four indicated primary structures and four structural intersections were delineated from the structural analysis of the four-claim of the Ruby 773182 Claim Group (“Property”). Both the primary structures and the cross-structures are significant as mineral controls in this geological environment based on the Nelson intrusive. The mineral controls may be for a potential polymetallic vein hosted or for a potential porphyry resource. Both types are indicated on the Property with the vein type predominant. Although eleven of fourteen Minfile mineral properties reported on herein appear to be related to polymetallic veins, the Springer Creek showing (Minfile 082FNW224) with the several veins and stockworks, indicates the porphyry indication at surface with the potential of a major porphyry at depth. This would pattern the porphyry model by the polymetallic veins forming a halo to a porphyry (Figure 8.).

Page 29 of 33 _______________________________________________________________________ Interpretation & Conclusions (cont’d) In any event, the mineralized structures are important as to an interpretation to the location of a potential porphyritic resource. The greatest information available might be at a cross–structural location where the maximum degree of structural variance should occur, such as brecciation and expansive stockworks. This could also provide a conduit for pressurized hydrothermal solutions released from depth and according to variable depositional requirements, the mineralogical and alteration features at surface could provide the required information to additional exploration in this specific area. As to the four cross-structures, the location of cross-structure “A” should be the initial are to explore. This location is near the White Hope past producer (Minfile 082FNW165); one of the most developed and productive properties (91 tonnes) of the five past producers included in the 20 claim Ruby 773182 Claim Group (Table II). With the three main White Hope adits exploring and developing mineral zones hosted by a northwesterly trending structure (145/325 degrees) and the prime “AD” structure of the structure analysis, indicated with a parallel trend some 200 metres to the east and cross-structure “A” some 200 metres northwest along structure “AD”, cross-structure “A” may be the main mineral feeder zone an en-echelon White Hope structure. There are mineral properties in the Slocan area that reportedly have an increased mineral zone or an “ore-shoot” at a cross-structure with the mineralization proportionately decreasing with the distance along one or both structures from the “ore-shoot”. A comparable feature may occur at the Northern Light showing (Minfile 082F167) where two short adits were completed to develop a mineral zone of an unreported mineral control. The mineral showing is located 250 metres from cross-structure “D” where a main mineral “feeder” zone may occur. Subsequent to the exploration and evaluation of the cross-structural “A” and “D” areas, areas “B” and “C” should be explored utilizing the geological information acquired from the previous locations. In the exploration of the areas, samples should be analyzed for pathfinder minerals and all types, degrees, and environment, of alteration should be noted.
