Lewis Murdoch has prepared an equipment list for filming a music video. The list includes a digital video camera to film the majority of shots of the artist due to its high quality lens and storage capacity. An iPhone 6 will be used to film montage shots embedded in the video, which is common for the R&B/Hip Hop genre. A tripod will secure the camera and iPhone to increase video quality. Footage will be compiled and edited using Final Cut Pro on an Apple Mac to select shots and apply effects. A digital audio recorder will capture high quality audio to match visuals, such as recording flowing water to improve sound quality for an introduction scene.

2. Filming Equipment
• DigitalVideo Cameras
This will be used to film the majority of the shots that include the artist, due to its high quality lens
and ability to store hours of footage. It is also portable enough to take to several different locations.
• iPhone 6
This will be used to film to montage shots that will be embedded into the video. It is common for
the R&B / Hip Hop genre to show different aspects of their lives through these shots.
• Tripod
This piece of equipment will be used to secure the camera or iPhone in a still place so that the
quality of the end film is increased.

3. Apple Mac
This will be used to compile all of the footage and select the shots that will be
used in the final video, then once we have these they will be edited together
and effects will be applied when necessary.The program we are using is Final
Cut Pro, the efficiency of this software will allow us to complete the editing
process with no bugs, glitches or delays.

4. Digital Audio Recorder
This piece of equipment will be used to film high quality audio noises that'll
match the visuals of the video, this is because it maybe wont be heard as well
with just the digital camera recording. An example of this is that we are going
to record flowing water to match the introduction scene, as the original
recording does not have great sound quality.
