This shows my carrying out my role as a
lighting technician. Where I focused the
light I consulted the lighting designer and
my lighting plan.
This picture shows me consulting my
technical manager during the “get in” of
all the equipment of the show. As a
lighting technician one of my roles is to
be able to rig. This involves the “get in”
of all the equipment.
3. This is a picture of a dimmer pack. This piece of equipment
enables us to plug lights into it which goes to the lighting desk.
From the dimmer pack to the lighting desk an XLR cable is used.
As a lighting designer one of my roles is to be experienced in
lighting equipment.

can rig a light. Rigging a
light is a major role of a
