2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SENIOR FINANCE ANALYST – EY
• Monitor and Manage Engagement Setup Coordination Desk Team
• Serve as a subject matter specialist on Ernst & Young's Global Financial Information System (GFIS) engagement software,
practices and policies
• Analysis and calculation of earnings and profits
• Good understanding of financial structure and engagement background to identify potential areas of improvement
• Serve in a financial advisory and support capacity, helping FMAs with financial analysis, proposing pricing strategies, and
analyzing budgets against actual figures.
• Suggest and implement leading practices for improving processes, for the Finance Analysts.
• Identify and communicate FMA/FA issues to the Assistant Manager, FMA Manager or Area
Director of Finance, as appropriate
• Identifying training & development needs for the people
• Delegate roles & responsibilities, Identify & develop leaders who can shoulder responsibility by
coaching, mentoring and motivating
• Timely and accurate resolution of customer queries and also internal queries
• Identify process gaps based on the study and propose process standardization
• Preparation of monthly Dashboard report.
ADVANCE FINANCE ANALYST – EY
• Preparation of comprehensive Financial Reports and projections on financial performance of the Business Unit along with
operating statements.
• Project maintenance, Invoicing and Business Unit reporting.
• Project Life cycle management. I perform the activities involved right from the setting up of the new project. It includes
pulling up of Work – in – progress report, Parameter Driven Reports & also calculating realization percentage.
• Billing the client based on the time & expenses charged by the employees & the partners.
• Preparing and sending invoices to the clients
• Preparation and Analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly Standard Financial Reports for Business Units and Ad hoc
Reporting requests from FMA's.
• Perform consolidation and analysis of business data e.g. Determining Engagement Profitability, Revenue Planning, Cash
Forecasting, Annual Budgeting, P & L Impact Assessment, Personnel Utilization, Time & Expenses Assessment etc.
• Closing Analysis of Engagement Codes
