COLOUR PALETTES
During my term researching colour palettes, I have
created these colour palettes on the basis of what I
think would fit my magazine the best. I do think
however that there are some that would fit my
magazine more than others. As some of the colours
chosen maybe a little over the top for the style of my
magazine. But I think that having one bright colour
surrounded by some darker colours works well. The
contrast really helps to highlightcertain things that you
want to stand out more. Not only that but I feel that it
is nice to mix things up a bit instead of having
everything in monotone colours. I need to make sure
that I keep the colours very unisex as that is the
audience that I am aiming for my magazine. I feel that
number 6 is too girly and may not appeal to the male
audience as much as I would want it to. I would say so
far that my favourite palettes are numbers 1 , 3 and 5.
Because these are colours which fit both genders as I
feel that this equality is needed. I like these palettes
because they incorporate black and white which fits
the indie genre perfectly but also because they
incorporate a bright colour which will just set it off.
