History of Lorena Field Trip
On February 17, 2011
We will be visiting the Ten Oaks home, Westbrook home,
Lorena Cemetery, Methodist Church, Downtown Lorena, and Waco Suspension Bridge.
We will eat lunch at LMS around 11:30-1:00.
Students need to bring $7.00 for lunch.
We will be having lunch off of a chuck wagon provided by Wishbone Wagon.
We will watch them make our food and listen to them teach us about western heritage.
Lunch includes: stew, biscuits, cobbler, and drink.
Any left over money will go towards gas for the buses.
Students are allowed to bring a camera and small blanket to sit on during lunch. However, if they bring a
camera or blanket, it is their responsibility and LISD is not liable if it is lost or stolen.
Please dress according to the weather. Athletic shoes are preferred. We will be doing a lot of walking and will
be outside most of the day.

School officials have permission to seek and/or administer medical assistance if deemed necessary.
I give my permission for the above named student to attend the activity and understand that the Student
Handbook and Discipline Management Plan shall be in force.

visited are extensions of the Lorena school property any time Lorena is in attendance for an educational activity.
