expedient patient services. I can also assist the physician when necessary. I maintain a
positive attitude in a high stress environment. I am determined to create an optimistic
patient experience. I easily build report with others. I am able to communicate and get
along well with other people. I uphold a strong work ethic and promote a constructive
atmosphere.
I am an Honors Graduate of Carrington College and a member of the AAMA. My
credentials include over ten years experience in the healthcare field, hospital and clinical
settings, as well as home health. I’m a certified medical assistant and I also have my
certification as a nursing assistant. I am proficient in multiple Medical Assisting skills:
taking vital signs, venipuncture, IV’s, urinary catheterization, performing EKG’s and
spirometry/ PFT’s, and eye/ ear irrigation. My present job greatly expanded my skills to
include organizing blood drives, ACLS/PALS/BLS classes for employees/physicians,
managing infection control statistics, conducting monthly safety rounds, chart audits,
glucometer checks, updating contract files, monitor bed tracking, etc.
