Cpr expectations,consequences
1. CARDINAL PRIDE & RESPECT (CPR)
Our behavior incentive program has been developed to expect and encourage our students to be
the best they can be! Cardinal Pride & Respect (CPR) is one unified program of classroom
management for all grades in our middle school. We are confident the consistency of this
program throughout your child’s middle school years is a great teaching tool that creates
discipline and responsibility for our students. We want to continue to set high standards for your
child and follow through on the wonderful set of values and morals you as parents have already
instilled in your son or daughter. CPR will reinforce positive actions and attitudes in our
students. During the first seven days of school, the sixth grade will be “practicing” in order to
fully understand this middle school behavior program. CPR will become official on
September 5.
Practice & Instruction of the CPR for Students:
August 24 – September 1, 2017
How will this work?
The students begin the quarter with 0 points. Points are added as infractions occur. The students
use a “Weekly Tracker” and carry it with them during the school day. Their trackers are
collected by the teachers at the end of the day and points are recorded. The homeroom teachers
contact parents before consequences are enforced. Trackers are returned to students at the start
of each day.
