Account Manager — Providing technical support, pricing analysis and problem resolution to Air Force
Contracts. Contract types areprimarily custodial, grounds maintenance and food service, but also include

08/2001 to 03/2015 (retired) - Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
Administrative/Program Surveyor for Employment and Community Services — Provided on-site assessment
of Non-Profit Agencies' compliance to field-driven standards that assure quality services to people with
disabilities. Surveys are conducted throughout the United States and Canada. Administrative surveyor
provides quality assurance of a Non-Profit Agency's Governance, Financial, Human Resources Management,
and Safety practices. Program Surveyors meet with the persons receiving services, their families and
professionals providing the non-profit agency's direct services. The meetings determine compliance with
field-driven standards as evaluated by the persons receiving services. In addition, a thorough records review
is conducted. CARF Surveyor provides oral presentations during the survey. While on-site, a CARF surveyor
acts as a consultant, while providing quality assurance. Surveyors perform a minimum of 3 survey per year
and arerequired to attend a minimum of 12 units of ongoing Survey training.
04/2008 to 04/2013 - Project Manager 1, NISH, Pacific West Region — Developed, analyzed and coordinated
costing and pricing data in support of Non-Profit Agencies and the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).
Ensured that contract pricing was fair and reasonable and developed in accordance with guidelines
established by the AbilityOne Commission.
10/2004 to 04/2008 - Senior Project Analyst, NISH, Pacific West Region — Acted as Liaison between Federal
Employers and Non-Profit Agencies to provide jobs to people with disabilities, primarily through the
DeCA businessunit.
04/2004 to 10/2004 – Circle of FriendsTravel –Developedandexecutedbusinessplanfortravel
program servingpeoplewithdisabilities.
08/2000 to 03/2004 Community Support Specialist for Moving Forward…Towards Independence, a private-
pay non-profit providing direct care for young men and women with disabilities — Developed Supported
Employment component, to provide job development, job coaching and ongoing support for 20 to 24 young
adults with barriers to employment. Barriers included developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and
mental health issues. Supervised 15 direct carestaff providing community living services. Responsible for
the budget of Supported Living and Job Placement components, hiring and terminating employment of
staff. Taught classes in current events, meditation, chess, men’s style, and interpersonal relationships.
Helped young adults and their families negotiate their way into and through various generic programs such
as Regional Centers, Department of Rehabilitation and Social Security Administration.
