floor.The floor was coated with Epicon Marine Finishafter preparation work was completed
successfully.
Spilhauson the R46 in Ceresrecentlyrecoated
theirroof structure and was in needof a heat-
reflective coatingto reduce the temperature
inside the building.
Solardek containssolar reflective white
pigmentand will lower the temperature inside
the buildingupto 25%.

4. DEKRO PAINTS HERITAGE CELEBRATION
Dekro Paints has beenmanufacturing coatings since the 1920’s and
as part of Heritage month celebrationswe invitedsome ofour
contractors to feast on a traditional lamb spit and some boeries.
Thank you for everybodyparticipatingin this day and keepon
celebratingour wonderful heritage.
Indoor braais and fireplacestendto rust over time.This is mainlyas a result ofwater enteringthroughthe
chimney.Here’show to achieve a good-as-newappearance in a jiffy.
Start by removingall flakingrust, over the whole surface,with a wire brush.
Now use sandpaper to remove all further rust. Sand the surface properlyuntil bright metal becomesvisible.Once
all rust is removed,ensure that the surface is free from all grease.Wunda CleanDegreaseris recommended.After
degreasing,rinse the surface with freshwater and leave it to dry.
Apply Dekro Vasbyt black evenlyto the entire surface to ensure a smoothfinish.Alloweach coat to dry
thoroughly.Drying-time betweencoats is approximately 1 hour.
Apply additional coats until the desiredfinishisachieved.At least three to four coats are recommended.Ensure
that the final coat has setbefore usingthe braai or fireplace.
