The “go to” Project/Proposal Manager for LGS Federal Systems and Products, Services and Administration
divisions. Directed cross-functional teams in preparing qualifications, technical responses, and cost
estimates in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for both commercial and government clients.
Evaluated proposal content requirements and managed deliverables. Utilized formal processes (Shipley) for
preparing bids and proposals, to ensure all deliverables were compliant to FAR bidding specifications,
completed in a timely manner, and reviewed for proper management approval.
Modernized proposal management process to align with Shipley methodology and enterprise wide gate
review process and management approval requirements, providing for better consistency of content,
compliant responses, and improved win ratio.
Won $10 million Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC)

Lead Proposal Manager on multiple Infrastructure Modernization (IMOD) task orders resulting in
over $80 million in awards. Led diverse teams across broad technical, financial and business
disciplines (Capture, Supply Chain, Logistics, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Treasury, and Engineering).
Total responsibility for on time delivery of compliant, competitive, proposals.
Proposal Manager on three major, strategic IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) awards:
IMOD (Infrastructure Modernization), NETCENTS-2 NetOps and Infrastructure Full and Open and
CIO-SP3 (Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3).
Key contributor in the development and maintenance of the full life-cycle proposal development
process for the Federal Systems capture team. Instrumental in defining the proposal process for
IMOD task orders. Standardized processes and built numerous templates (schedules, statements of
work, outlines, executive summaries, pricing templates, compliance matrix) for use by proposal
teams.
Unifi, Inc. (Greensboro, NC) Systems Consultant IV 1998-2004
Managed enterprise-wide projects focusing on optimal application and operating efficiencies. Instrumental
in the roll-out of Six Sigma to the corporation. Led company-wide vision, mission and culture efforts to
transform Unifi from a manufacturing to a marketing company.
One of first four employees at Unifi, Inc. to earn Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Member of executive project task force that was responsible for rebranding Unifi through
development of a new mission statement. Co-developed corporate mission presentations and
executed roll-out throughout the organization. Championed departments and employees
developing mission statements that aligned with the corporate mission.
Led Oracle 11i Implementation projects in the Dyed Yarns and Air-Textured divisions. Successfully
implemented best business practices and improved business processes.
Managed the 7-Day Turn Time Project at Unifi following the Six Sigma DMAIC Methodology.
Reduced elapsed time between customer orders to “booking with the dye-house” from 43.9 hours
to 12.9 hours. Six Sigma Project Manager for HR/Payroll due-diligence project. Performed detailed
analysis and extensive business process mapping of the Human Resources and Payroll business
processes. Due-diligence led to the selection of Oracle 11i which best fit Unifi’s corporate and
application objectives.
US Airways, Inc (Winston-Salem, NC) Manager-Revenue Accounting Applications 1987-1998
Managed IT staff responsible for the day-to-day support of mission-critical applications in the
Revenue/Credit division of US Airways.
Successfully delivered sixteen Y2K compliance projects.
Core Team Member of the US Airways Electronic Ticketing project representing Revenue, Credit
Card, and Refund accounting systems. Enterprise-wide project was championed by the COO. US
Airways was the first major US carrier to implement electronic ticketing.
