Penetration Testing Course
I have done Penetration Testing Student (PTS) course online from
elearnsecurity.com with 30 hours of practical labs.
Virtualization
I have excellent knowledge of bare-metal virtualisation hypervisor vSphere ESXi.
I also have excellent grasp of hosted hypervisor VirtualBox.
Penetration Testing Lab
I have set up a penetration testing lab using VirtualBox hosted on my Windows 10
PC and vSphere ESXi on my Lenovo TS140 server. I use Kali Linux (running on
VirtualBox) to practice penetration testing on Metasploitable2 (running on vSphere
ESXi).
Penetration Testing Tools
I know how to use Nmap and Nessus vulnerability scanners.
I am also familiar with the use of network traffic analyser Wireshark.
I also have good knowledge of Metasploit-Framework.
Penetration Testing Background Knowledge
I understand the structure of the internet and CIDR method used for allocating IP
addresses and routing IP packets.

Work Experience
Customer Care Officer
I have been working as a Customer Care Officer with G4S since 2003. My duties include
providing safe working environment for staff at Job Centre Plus office, assisting/guiding
customers, dealing with difficult customers, performing site security patrols, panic alarm
testing, fire alarm testing, performing fire drills. Working with G4S gave me a security
mindset which motivated me to do MSc in Information Security.
Maths teacher
I have done voluntary and paid teaching for about a year in primary and secondary schools
in London. My paid job was in Leytonstone School in London Borough of Waltham Forest
where I taught Maths for 2 months in 2002.
Hobbies
I am into photography. I volunteered to take photos at 2013 CRESTCon & IISP
Congress at Royal College of Surgeons; some of the photos I took can be seen on
CRESTCon’s Flickr account.
I like watching documentaries especially scientific documentaries.
I have excellent knowledge of PC components and have built custom PCs for myself,
friends, family, and colleagues.
