2.  Fetal development is the process of an
unborn baby going through fertilization
inside the mom.
 During this process the male inserts sperm
into the female and once the sperm
fertilizes the egg, fetal development
begins.

3.  3 layers are formed by
gastrulation. Endoderm,
mesoderm, and Ectoderm.
This occurs three weeks after
fertilization.
 From fertilization to week 9
baby is called embryo. Then
from week 9 to birth embryo is
called fetus.
 Membranes form during the
first few weeks to protect and
nourish the embryo.
 The Amnion forms a fluid-filled
sac.
 The Amniotic membrane
protects the embryo.
 The Yolk Sac membrane
produces the first blood cell.
 Through month 1 to month 3.

4.  The fetal heartbeat is easily
detected and fetus is
active.
 By the end of this trimester
the fetus weighs about .5
kg,and has a complete
face with eyelashes and
eyebrows.
 Since the fetus starts to grow
the mother start to feel
movement as in kicks
,pokes, Ext.
 Month 3 through month 6

5.  In these last three months the
fetus experiences rapid growth,
it's bones and muscles become
stronger.
 Circulatory system and
respiratory system make
changes so the fetus is able to
breath and function right after
coming out of the mothers
uterus.
 It is less active when It fills up
more space in the mother and
comes closer to childbirth.
 Development of the legs, arms,
and head become more visible.
 Month 6 to 9.
